First Date.

"It's a lovely weather huh?" Edd asked, to which I paid no attention because I was occupied with observing the surrounding which never seemed so pleasant earlier. Sunny yet breezy weather, the sun seemed to smile while the breeze was literally giving us a bear hug. I predicted that the day was going to be a good one and felt happier.

"Let's go to the Dophersy Park, what say?" Edd asked.

"Good idea, let's go. But before that, we need to get good meal or I'll go cranky", I suggested in jest.

Edd agreed and we had pizza at the food plaza. 

Outside the food plaza, we were walking to the main road, when I stopped.

"Edd, wait. Let me check whether the park is open or not", I told him.

"You can do this while walking also", he argued, to which ,in a jesty squeaky voice I replied,

"Come on Edd, we should not use mobile phones while walking on road, it may cause accidents".

But Edd paid no heed and pulled me along with him.

We had hardly reached the main road when we heard a loud bang. A truck hit the exit of the food plaza, exactly the place where we were standing. Luckily no one got injured in that accident except the driver who got his head hit at the stirring wheel.

"Thanks to me that I chose not to listen to you, sometimes it's completely fine to break rules. But seriously, these drivers are becoming so careless these days..." Edd mumbled while I was mortified at the sight of the accident.

Problems may arise but our job is to keep going.

Especially when it's about goals or about emotions - emotions towards someone, not love always, but a connection which is indefinable.

In the afternoon it rained, though t'was sunny throughout the morning. We were without umbrella. Anyhow we managed to reach the park but all in vain. Our first date got ruined by unruly vehicles and grumpy thunders.

"Edd, I think we should have returned. This date is meaningless now. I think I am feeling sick", I told him.

Edd seemed disappointed. Yet, he spoke in a way to cheer me up," Let's walk further, afterall, how often do you spend time in rains, walking in the park, amidst this nature, with...me?" His voice faded as he spoke the last words. No matter how hard he tries, he cannot keep a bold voice when with me, he has to go tender. He is cute and lovable. I realised that I had started liking him. Even the realisation feels heavenly...

We walked by the trees bordering the the park's interior.

"Ouch!" Edd exclaimed.

He rubbed is right arm. He looked up indicating that something fell from above. 

"What was that?" I asked.

"Something spiny", he told.

I observed our surrounding.
