Marinette wasn't looking where she was going until she heard a very loud car horn. She froze and with her eyes closed, she waited for the impact.
Luckily, CatNoir was on his patrol and had saved her from the fast car. He scooped toward her and took her to one of the rooftops.
As she did not feel ant pain, Mari opened her eyes. She saw that she was in CatNoir's arms and felt better but started to cry. CatNoir hugged her trying to calm her down and then took Mari to her house. He placed her lightly on the bed.
Mari hugged him tight and he hugged back. After a few seconds they parted. Chat looked at Mari with questioning eyes.
Mari: Thank you CatNoir.
Chat: No problem Mari but you should look were you are going. Anything could have happened to you if I were not there.
Mari: Yes Chat. *she knew he was worried for her* Sorry*sighs*
Chat: If you don't mind me asking, why are you so upset?
Mari: *a tear falls from her eyes, then followed by many* My boyfriend...... he cheated on me ...... with Kagami.
