life In Republic City High School

The New Guy: Chapter one:

(Korro's P.O.V.)
"Ughhh.... I don't want to get up yet" I groan and so today is my first day at a new school at Republic city High school. My father Tonraq had gotten a new military position here in Republic city, but he'll only be here for few months, then he and my mother are moving back to the Southern Water Tribe. "Korro!! Sweetie you need to wake up! You don't want to be late on your first day of school!" Sighed in frustration. Honestly I'm not looking forward to this. "Alright... Alright I'm up!" I struggled to get out of bed only to end up rolling off and face planted to the floor "oowww" I got up and started to get dressed wearing my favorite black ripped skinny jeans, dark blue, grayish hoodie, black muscle shirt and my vans shoes. I'm the type of guy that like grungy rock music, I do like to play football every now and then, I use to play a lot with my father.

When I was born, I wasn't normal like most others, I have the ability to bend 12 elements but the main 4 I'm focused on are water, fire, earth and air. For the past 70 years benders had to hide away due to those non benders, but there's one element that is forbidden to use and that is blood bending.

I spiked my hair and put the rest into two wolf tails on one side. I headed downstairs "something smells delicious" walked into the kitchen seeing my mother make my lunch for later on and my breakfast was already on the table "made your favorite" she smiled and I sat down and started to eat. Soon after I got up and grabbed my keys to my motorcycle and kissed my mother on the cheek "alright well I'm heading off now" headed to the door, but my father had caught me in head lock "my boy finally growing up, first the motorcycle and now your about to start your second year in high school" "haha dad, come on now, I gotta get going before I'm late." He let's go of me and laughed "haha alright boy, I'll see you whenever you decide to come visit me and your mother in the south pole" I opened the door and looked back "be careful dad, I'm going to miss you" he looked at me sadden eyes "I'm going to miss you too korro" my mom popped her head out the kitchen "have fun sweetie"

I closed the door and headed for my motorcycle and Naga my polar bear dog came up "hey girl, I'll be gone for several hours alright, I'll get you some treats on my way back" I patted her head and her trail wagged and went back to the yard. I hopped on my bike that I got for my 16th birthday last and I got to admit, it was the best day in my life.
