I want you (Draco Malfoy Love story)

Chapter twelve

It seemed hours had passed before me and Draco left for our common rooms. I didn't want to be around anyone else, not when i'd be getting asked questions about me and him or about how i apparently paid him to save my life. We walked out of the classroom and the corridors were empty and dark. He held tight onto me as we tip toed through the darkness. I'm not sure that it was past curfew but we didn't take the chance of getting caught . Draco turned left to go up a spiral flight of stairs, "Draco Gryffindor common room is this way" i whispered pulling him back. "Do you even know how to relax Bellamy" he spoke over his shoulder. I gave in and let him continue dragging me up the staircase. After non-stop walking for two and a half minutes we finally reach a stop. Draco lets go of my hand and opens his robe to take his wand out of his pocket. "Alohamora" he mumbled into his wand. The door gave a click and unlocked swinging open, fresh air hit me in the face. Draco stepped up the few remaining steps and i followed him unsure where we were going still. I pushed myself up the final step and walked to Draco who was already sat on the floor waiting for me. Gently i sat down next to him. "I always come here when i'm alone, i love the tranquility of it all, the worst could be happening inside the walls of Hogwarts and you'd never know, there's no problems up here" he explained. Uneasy, i peered over the edge of the rails. "I never saw you as the kind of person to come and sit alone in the astronomy tower" i admitted to him. He didn't even look at me when he murmured "Not many people see me as anything other than a Slytherin" he said it so quietly i had to block out the noises coming from the dark forest and listen through his echoes bouncing off the open rooftop. I leaned my head on his shoulder and let go of a heavy breath "Not everyone deserves to see you Draco" .

We laid on top of the astronomy tower for too long for me to count; conversations varied from the stars to Neville Longbottom. Things felt so easy laid there with him, his right arm slipped around my shoulders. I played with his fingers in my hands looking at the bruises on his knuckles from fighting. I turn to look at him and say something but nothing comes out, instead i watch him stare blankly at the sky. I began comparing his eyes to the stars in the sky, not a single one was as beautiful as his eyes. His jawline was sharp and structured changing the whole shape of his face even his cheekbones were sharp and changed his entire look. He turned his head to mine and watched me watch him for a while. "We need to get back" he whispered.
"I don't want to leave" i whispered back turning my head to look back at the night sky "it's too beautiful to leave". He continued to watch me "You're right....it is, but come on we have to go if anyone catches us out here" he pulled himself up from the ground. "Since when did you care about being caught out for doing something wrong" i smirked at him beginning to stand up myself. Draco rolled his eyes at me "I don't care what happens to me Bellamy i care about you getting caught". I smiled slightly at the words i care about you. "Come on" he titled his head towards the door and we began walking down. Draco locked the door and followed me down the spiral stair case that began making me dizzy so much that started to wobble.

Gryffindor common room was only a short walk from the astronomy tower and we didn't get long of a good bye after noticing finch wandering about the staircase. It was late and nobody was in the common room, even the fire only had embers left burning out on spruce logs. Without stopping to look around the room i change and get straight into bed. Immediately my first reaction is to look for Teal by the end of my bed, She was there curled up as usual, i dropped my head to the pillow. So many things had happened in one day i wasn't sure what emotion to feel. The only think i could feel was Draco, his cologne clung to my hair making it hard to try and release my mind off all thoughts. Slowly i faded into a deep sleep leaving behind all my thoughts.

It had been a week since Draco and i had sat on the astronomy tower together, it was a moments i kept replaying in my mind over and over again throughout the days. I had tried to spend as much time as i could with Draco but it's hard to ever get any time alone when you're in a school of thousands of people. The little time we did get to spend together made me feel as though we were the only ones in the whole of Hogwarts, he still had a arrogant prick attitude toward me sometimes and definitely still had it with other people, but what else could i expect from the notorious Draco Malfoy. I had hardly seen Harry since the day in the corridor, he is usually busy training for the Triwizard competitions after the ministry decided that he was able to compete. At breakfast and dinner, which i was usually late to because of Draco, i sat with Ron and Hermione. The week had gone pretty slow and my lessons seemed to drag on each day. Even the lessons i were in with Harry he hardly ever showed up. The first round of the competition was in a couple of days and the anticipation was running through the school. Harry couldn't walk anywhere without people wishing him luck and slapping his back.

I finally left my charms class when Harry came and greeted me with a smile. "You seem cheerful for once" i flashed back a smile at him. "I finally have some spare time and i wondered if we could go get dinner, i mean i haven't been able to eat at the Gryffindor table for way too long" he joked. I began walking down the stairs to the great hall Harry following me. People began looking at him and started warming around. He just sat down and ignored them and carried on his conversation with me. For the next fifteen minutes we sat nonstop talking. It felt nice being able to talk to Harry again after he'd been so busy lately. "I've missed you since you have been training so much lately" i spoke before picking up my class of water. Harry smiled at me "I felt like i'd hardly seen you, that's why i came to look for you after you finished class".
"Well Harry i'm honestly honoured that you have so many fans and you still remember me" sarcastically i replied. We both started laughing each of us adding things in that made us laugh more. Times like this made me really miss having Harry as such a close friend. He stopped laughing for a while and stared at me with a cleaning smile on his face. "What, do i have something on my face" i began feeling around my face. He didn't say anything but just smiled and shook his head and looked down at he plate still gleaming. A flash of blonde moved past the corner of my eye and i watched Draco pace out of the great hall doors. My legs moved to go follow him, then i looked up at Harry who was talking to Neville about potions class and decided that it wasn't the right time for me to leave. I settled back down into my seat and carried on eating.

It was near curfew before we left the great hall after we spent so long laughing and joking down there. Both of us sauntered our way back to the common room as if we had all the time in the world. "How do you think it's going to be , the first round" i questioned unsure he'd want to even talk about the tournament. Instead of being silent like i thought he would he replied "I'm not prepared, i don't think i'll ever be , there is a fire breathing dragon waiting to destroy me so" he laughed off the end of him sentence making me laugh too. "I'm sure you will be ok, i mean you've handled worse before" i looked at him and held back a smile. He pushed me playfully that i could see through the doorway another person, curiously i peered through wondering who was out of their house common rooms at this time. Of course it was Draco. Quickly i turned to Harry "stay here i'll be two minutes". I ran through the door and rushed down the corridor "Draco" i shouted not even bothered if any teachers heard "Draco" my voice echoed through the corridor bouncing off the walls. He stood still at the end and i thought he finally listened to me and was about to turn around. I stood still and smiled waiting for him to start toward me. Instead he looked to the left and carried on to turn the corner. "Draco" my voice was loud but not quite as powerful as before. He looked at me slightly before turning. He walked away.

Confused i stood in the centre of the hall, alone. Harry came round the corner and touched my arm slightly sensing something was up. "Are yo" i cut him off immediately my emotions from confused to pissed off. He knew i was there so why the fuck did he walk off. "Let's just walk back to the common room" i looked up at Harry and he didn't move busy trying to read the emotions on my face "please".
