Yayas POV
I yawned and stretched as I rolled out of bed , about to get ready for school , junior year , yikes.I brushed my teeth , took a nice warm shower and slipped on a causal grey sweater , white jeans and some brown sandals.I headed downstairs, mama and daddy was drinking coffee in the kitchen.My brother Timmy was grabbing himself a bagel with cream cheese , Timmy is my older brother, he is a senior , and he also dates my best friend Christina.I used to hate my brother dating my best friend , but now it's like whatever.
"Morning baby" Mama said
"Morning mama"
"Hey baby gurl" dad said
"Morning daddy" I said as I kissed his cheek
He grins.
"Hey big head" Timmy says as he eats his bagel
I rolled my eyes "your head is bigger then mines dude"
"Yeah right"
I grinned and rolled my eyes.
"Well I'm off to work , see y'all later" Dad said
Mom kissed him, and me and Timmy told him see you later.He grabs his car keys and head out the door.
"Well I guess we better head off to school" I said sighing
"Lemme finish my bagel dude" Timmy says
I rolled my eyes "hurry up, we don't wanna be late"
"Honey you didn't eat anything, aren't you hungry" ? Mom asked
"Oh it's fine mama , I'll get something at school"
"Oh alright then" she said grabbing her coffee
"Come onnnnn Tim" I said in annoyance
"Alright alright , why you so rushy about school" ?
If only you knew Tim...
Tim thinks he can just chill and be late because he is a senior , but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way , you have to work twice as hard, the stakes are hella high , and you gotta work hard to make sure you graduate.

We hugged mama , she told us have a good day and we headed to Timmy's car , we pulled off and headed to the school.We arrived within 20 mins like we always do.I hopped out the car.I seen Christina running towards us.I threw my arms out for her to hug me , but she hugged Timmy instead.
"Hi baby" she said smiling
"Hey gorgeous" he said as he pecked her lips
I felt some kind of way not gonna lie.
"Bestieeeee" she said as she hugged me
"Yeah hi , I exist too"
Timmy laughs , I hit his shoulder.
"Chill gurl" Christina said
While we were walking in the school, I noticed my crush Caroline. she was talking to this guy name Justice , and another guy name Qt ...and her girlfriend Victoria was hugged up next to her.I was staring so hard, she was so beautiful, and basketball captain...she was a senior too ...she would never go for a gurl like me , I'm a simple plain Jain and besides my friends and family don't even know that I'm secretly gay.They always ask me who do you have a crush on and I always say ...nobody.Or I lie and say some random boy name.I feel so ashamed , what will they think of me if I told them? will they think of me differently? Mama and daddy want some grandkids ...they have always pictured this vision of me being with a man at the alter.
"Yo earth to Yaya! what you staring at" ? Christina asked
"Huh" ? I said as I jumped back into my senses
"You checking out one of those fine ass senior boys aren't you" ? She asked
Lucky Timmy had walked away before she said that.
"Uhh" I said with a nervous laugh
"Mhmmm I see you looking at Justice ...do you have a crush on him, he is like the star of the football team...that boy has goals....

I was lost for words , I didn't know what to tell her , I just glared at her.
"You know you can tell me , I'm your best friend...so do you? because it's okay to like older men sweetie"
"Oh yeah I do have a crush on Justice"
She gasps and squeals "OMG lets go over their"
I gasped , my heart immediately begin to pound.
"Omg no way" ! I yelled

She pulls my arms , I struggled to get away, but before I could escape , Caroline , her girlfriend ,Justice and QT catches our eye , I almost fainted.
"Hiiii" Christina said
"Hey wassup" ? Justice said
"My best friend ...was wondering could she have a word with you"?
My eyes widened , but I kept glancing at Caroline on the sly , and I noticed she kept looking at me with a few grins , and her girlfriend was looking down at her phone while chewing some gum and blowing bubbles.
"You wanna talk to me" ? Justice asked
"Yeah...." I said as my voice trembled
"Uh like alone"'?
"Mhm" I said As I nearly passed out
"Uh okay sure"he said smiling
We walked over by a corner , Yaya was keeping QT company.
Christina's POV
"Your amazing at football" I said smiling
QT seizes me "Uh thanks"
"I like your T-shirt"
He looks down "oh thanks , I brought it from holister"
"Ooh I like that store"
"Really? cool" He said grinning
It was so awkward, I barely know this guy.
Yayas POV
"So what did you wanna talk about" ? Justice asked
I felt so lost , I didn't know what to say.
"Uh well I wanted to congratulate you on that win last Friday"
"Uh thanks, we barley made it Tbh"
"So I heard , I mean I seen..."
He glared at me , it was a awkward silence for a moment.
The bell rings.
"Uh I think we better head to class, your name is Yaya right" ?
"Yep thats me , and your name is Justice right " ?
"Yep that's me" he said chuckling
"Yeah" I said smiling
"So I'll see you at lunch maybe" ? He asked
"Sure maybe..I mean of course ...I mean yeah" I said nearly out of breath
"Cool"
He walks away.I sighed deeply "Ugh what have I gotten myself into"
Christina runs over with excitement.
"Omg your never gonna believe what just happened"
"Uh what" ?
"QT just invited us to the big senior kick back party of the year this Friday" !
"Omg are you serious...little ole us"?

She said squealing
"Is Caroline and...Victoria gonna be their"
"Uhh duh...all of the popular seniors gonna be their"
I smiled "why so you worried about those girls, it's the boys that you should worried about, and speaking of boys did you kick it off well with Justice" ?
"Sure"
I was lying ...it went super awkward.
"He said he would see me at lunch"
"OMG, were gonna be sitting at the popular senior table"
"Christina calm down , it's just a table"
"Full of popular seniors , do you not realize how much clout we would get for sitting with them"
