Dear Reader,
I would like to inform you that the short story you are about to read was written by me, about a year and a half ago to the day I am posting it. As you might see from any of the other stories I have posted on Wattpad, my writing style has changed since I first wrote this story. I have not edited it since it's final form. When I came across it, however, I thought it might be entertaining to other readers and writers, so I thought I'd share it.
For context, this was written for a Bible project. We were tasked to take a story from the Old Testament and rewrite it from the perspective of someone who wasn't a main character. I, being the ridiculous child I was, chose to retell the story of the manna and quail from the perspective of, wait for it, a quail.
