you and marley had been dating for six months and were so happy in your little relationship, and you were babysitting your five year old sister while your dad was on a business trip for the weekend. you wanted to invite marley round too as your sister adored her and they were best friends which was the cutest thing ever!!

she had agreed to come over for the whole weekend as her mum loved you two together and knew you wouldn't get up to anything, you both bounced off of each other in the most positive way.

your dad just said his goodbyes to you and your sister as marley approached your house and gave your dad a quick handshake before he drove off to the airport in his car, you and your sister waiting on the doorstep for marley, your sister jumped in her arms as marley picked her up and cuddled into her, you smiled at her before she put your sister down and gave you a quick kiss.

you all went inside and into the living room to watch a movie before you had to put your sister to bed by 7:00, she wanted to watch toy story for the 100th time but you agreed since it was hard to turn down her cute face. She sat on the floor in front of you and marley who were cuddled up on the couch, it was around 25 minutes into the movie when you heard slight snores in front of you, realising your sister had fallen asleep.

you decided you might as well put her to bed now seeing as she's already asleep so you got up and carried her to her bedroom which was next to yours, you laid her in bed and sat down on the bed before kissing her forehead and whispering "good night, sweet dreams baby i love you" you turned around to go back downstairs to marley when you noticed her standing at the doorway smiling with her phone in her hand, she showed you a picture she just took of you and your sister, she really was the cutest.

"hey bubs i turned the tv off and all the lights downstairs as i figure seeing as she's asleep up here now we should just go and watch tv in your room and then go to sleep?". you kissed her cheek before saying "fine by me babe". you went into the bathroom to change your clothes while she got under the covers ready to watch a tv show with you. you finally were ready for bed and made your way into the bed and snuggled next to marley.

a nice silence filled the air before she said "i hope our future turns out to be something like this, a nice house, kids, a happy marriage and plenty of loving moments with you" you looked up at her with the biggest smile on your face and said "me too darling, there's nothing i want more". you turned on netflix before starting stranger things season 3 with her, "i love you marley bear" you expected to hear her say it back so you looked up, only to find her looking so peaceful and beautiful sleeping ever so gently.

"i can't wait for the future with her" you quietly thought to yourself.
