Mission 2: (Still Writing): Highway Star

(Y/n)'s POV

Everything in the shop was quiet until Patty starts messing up Dante's office.  Dante doesn't like anyone messing up his office, well besides me because he knows that I can clean it up once in a while, when I feel like it, but when it comes to other people, yeah, he doesn't like it at all.  Patty was trying to make the office look girly with toys and pink stuff, "Unbelievable! Guys' places are such a mess!" Patty says to herself.  But I just didn't care because I was busy reading the magazine with Dante, "No one's going to want to come to sty like this, much less any clients..." Patty said to us.

Like I said before, me and Dante didn't pay attention because we were both looking at the magazine together.  Dante flips a few pages before we heard someone yelling our names, "Mr. Dante! Ms. (Y/n)!" Someone's voice yells out to us.  We heard Patty yelling out, "It's a customer! Hello!" Patty yells out to the person behind the doors.  The doors open and we see the pizza boy, "Yeah I got one basil and spicy salami pizza, no olives..." The pizza boy didn't finish his sentence because his eyes went in shock, when he saw the office looks different.  Me and Dante got up before walking towards the pizza before I grab the pizza box out of his hands, "Thanks. We'll pay you everything we owe at the end of the month." Dante said to the pizza boy.  I just placed the pizza box on the desk.

We heard the doors open, so we knew the pizza boy left.  Patty was just going at it again, "Pizza again...?" Patty asks us.  I just chuckled at her words before placing the pizza on the desk.  Paddy sighs at this before she starts to ask us, "So when do you think clients will start coming today?" Patty asks us.  I just told Patty, "Who knows." I said to Patty while Dante shares a slice of pizza for me.  I grab it before giving him a kiss on his cheek before eating the pizza, "I suppose... I probably better decorate the outside too." Patty said to herself.  Dante must've got upset with Patty before he tells her, "Give us a break." Dante said to Patty.  I just chuckled at this before eating the pizza slice again.  Dante finally sits down on the chair before he tells Patty, "You saw the pizza boy's reaction didn't you?" Dante asks Patty.  I just look at Patty before telling her, "You know, you can just put all of this stuff away. Nobody cares about what you made the shop look like, even with this gross fancy stuff." I said to Patty making myself a fake gagging noise.

Dante just chuckles at my line before he tells Patty, "(Y/n)'s right, just put everything back the way it was and shut up." Dante said to Patty.  I just laughy elbow him, "I think that was sexy of what you said." I said to Dante with a small smirk on my face.  Dante just smirks at this before he tells me, "Oh, you think that's sexy, maybe I could show what kind of sexy that I can do on the bed." Dante said to me with a smirk on his face.  I just kiss his nose before telling him, "I think that offer." I said to Dante.  Dante smirks before we heard the doors open and Patty greeting the person, "Hmmm..." The person that made that noise is a woman.  Right away, we knew that voice anywhere.

We look up to see Lady at the door before she tells us, "Seems like your senses of style has improved a lot since we last met. Hasn't Dante, (Y/n)?" Lady asks us.  I glance at Dante before telling him, "Try not to start arguments, for me?" I ask Dante.  Dante grabs my hand before he tells me, "I try not to." Dante said to me.  I just smiled at him; we saw Lady walking around before she walks towards the window before she moves the curtain, "And then you..." Lady starts talking to Patty before she looks at Patty, "If I'm not mistaken would be Patty Lowell..." Lady said to Patty.  Patty must've got happy that someone realized her.  I just rolled my eyes, "Huh? How do you know? Am I famous or a kind of celebrity or something?" Patty asks Lady with a happy look on her face.

Me and Dante just look at each other before I just pointed my finger in my mouth.  Dante chuckles at this before Lady speaks out, "The little girl hanging around the 'Devil May Cry' has become quite the subject of gossip in this town..." Lady said to Patty.  Dante just tells Lady, "But it's not like you came all this way just to have a look at this brat, now is it?" Dante asks Lady with a little angry tone in his voice.  Patty just lets out an angry noise.  I just chuckled at this before Dante takes a bite out of his pizza before he asks Lady in an angry tone in his voice, "What are you here for? If it's about some job, thanks, but no thanks." Dante said to Lady in a little angry tone in his voice.
