The Day I'll Never Forget: A Lumity Tale

Chapter 1

~Jumping back to modern day; Amity is now a teacher at the High School in Luz's hometown, Luz and Amity are engaged, and thanks to help from Eda; there's now magic in the human world.

(Amity's POV)

I was walking to the classroom one day and I looked over toward my locker and saw a wonderful sight, the most beautiful girl I've ever met my girlfriend; Luz Noceda. I couldn't help but blush when I saw her standing by my locker, she looked absolutely gorgeous in that white Francesca Garavaldi dress she was wearing, a veil over her face. "Ms. Blight, how are you doing today?" Luz asked her fiancée.

I blushed so hard that I nearly passed out from lack of air. "I have got to stop blushing that hard! Luz, where did you find that dress!?" After giving my fiancée a once over; "Does that belong to Camila?" Luz nodded. "Sweetheart, we're gonna be married soon, you're gonna have to start getting used to calling her; Mom. After all; I would expect that much from my wife." It was hard to fight off a blush.

After a few minutes; I began to speak; "Luz, you look absolutely gorgeous in that dress! Any girl would be glad to be in my position!" Luz blushed upon hearing what I said. "Mittens, I bet that I won't look as beautiful as you will on our wedding day." Trying to hold back another blush, I took several deep breaths and replied; "That may be true, however; I'm not worried about whether or not I'll look good for our wedding, I'm worried that I won't make a great wife to you!"

Luz took my hand and pulled me close and gave me a kiss. "That's not it, I know you better than that! What's wrong Mittens?" I fought back tears. After a few minutes of trying to hold back the tears, I finally began to cry and said; "Luz, I love you so much, but I'm not sure my parents are going to approve of my marrying you. You're a human after all, which I don't see anything wrong with that at all."

Luz took my hand and held it tighter. "Anyway; I'm also afraid that I won't be a good mother to our future children. How are we going to be able to have children anyway since you and I are both girls?" Luz held my hand and kept on encouraging me to tell the truth. "You know, Luz. I am just so afraid that you and I won't be able to be happy together because of my own family."

I told my short-haired brunette fiancée. Luz nodded her head in agreement with me. "You know Amity, I know the feeling. I get that you feel that way. But baby, I spoke to your mother earlier and she told me that it's your dad who doesn't agree with you marrying me, she even called your dad a Homophobe!" Luz said.

Luz caught her breath before she continued. "But your dad said; "Odalia, I have nothing against Amity marrying Luz, nor the fact that Luz is a human. What I don't agree with is our daughter; Amity is marrying a Low-born girl!" I told your mom the truth about my family, and she said that she would tell your dad. He will come around and accept our marriage."

Later after class had come to an end for the day; Luz and I walked home holding hands, not long after we got home, Luz and I hopped into the shower together. After our shower; we both got dressed, and then Luz went to help Máma with dinner, and I went into our room, sat down at my desk and continued writing the seventh and final Good Witch Azura novel.

(Luz's POV)

Odalia Blight and her husband; Alador showed up at my Máma's home. Amity was in our room, writing another chapter of the new Good Witch Azura book. I called upstairs; "Hey Amity, you have a couple of visitors!"

(Amity's POV)

Hearing Luz's voice calling me; I put down my pen on the desk, I stood up from where I had been sitting and said; "I'll be right down Luz, darling!"

I quickly began fixing my hair and straightening out my outfit. Then I proceeded to open the door and leave the room. As I started to descend the stairs; I saw my mother heading towards the living room. "Mom, what are you doing here?" I asked as I reached the bottom step. I looked into the living room and saw my dad hugging Luz and Camila.

"Dad, you're here as well!?" I asked as I stepped into the room. "Amity, you didn't tell me that your dad is; Alador Blight, the CEO of the company that publishes the GWA books." Amity looked at her dad with a shocked expression.

"Ams, after your mom told me that you were going to marry Luz, I felt like you were doing that to disgrace the Blight family name, but upon your mother telling me that my future daughter-in-law is half-Belos, I asked her what she meant, she told me the truth; Luz may have been born on Earth, and she may also be a human, but her dad is our beloved Emperor and therefore; when I realized that you were marrying the daughter of our great leader, I told your mom; "Odalia, we need to go and I have apologize to Amity, after telling her that her fiancée was low-born." I told your mom that after I apologized to you, I wanted to meet the daughter of; Albert Belos, our beloved Emperor. And so, now we're here."

Looking at Luz and back at my parents, I finally asked; "So does that mean that Luz and I have your blessing to get married then?" My dad nodded. "Luz, after meeting and getting to know more about who you are, I want you to know that had you not been the emperor's daughter, even after getting to know you more, I'd have still given you my blessing. And as such; Luz, I know that you don't need money or anything like that, but as my way of giving you my blessing; allow me to pay for all wedding expenses regardless of whether or not it's a big ceremony, also; I will always pay for all living expenses for the two of you for the first two years of your married life."

I looked at my beautiful soon to be wife who smiled at me. "What do you think Amity dear?" I walked over, hugged my dad and thanked him for his blessing of my marriage to Luz, then I said; "Dad, Emperor Belos has already paid for everything related to the wedding, even mine and Luz's honeymoon. But, if you still want to pay all of our living expenses for the first two years of our married life, we graciously accept."

My mom walked over to Luz and gave her a huge hug, then my dad did the same; "Welcome to the Blight family; Luz!" I looked at Luz and then at both my parents and said; "Dad, Luz and I have both decided that we should take on the last name; Belos upon our marriage. Luz now goes by; Luz Noceda-Belos, and as soon as we're married; I will become Amity Edalyn Lilith Blight-Belos!"

Camila walked into the room hugs my mom, dad gives her a look before he notices her face looks very familiar. "Wait, Camila? Camila the Chameleon is that you!?" Camila's head turned so fast that Luz and I nearly got whiplash just looking at her.
