Its the true kinda love

It was mid February and valentine was almost here, love was beginning to fill the air and couples worldwide were thinking of ways to show their appreciation for each other. Everything was perfect.....well almost perfect. On a in a small town called beachcity, on the shoreside of the beach, lived the universe household. And in the household consisted of 3 residents. Steven universe, and his 2 wives, connie universe and spinel universe. All 3 married to each other, steven and connie were originally married first but after the whole spinel destroy the world thing, decided to accept spinel into their marriage with open arms. It was great at first, all 3 living together in harmony, but like all things it comes to an end.  Steven has become alot more attentive to spinel in the past few month, he buys and cooks her food, he offers to bath with, he offers to take her everywhere, things he never did with connie and to be honest connie was begining to get alittle jealous and feel left out. And spinel was none the wiser, accepting all these gifts of affection like a affection starved puppy, and recently they've been starting to go places without her knowledge which upset her even more. So 1 week before valentines day she was going to speak to steven about it.

"Steven?" connie called softly as she walked down stairs to see him cooking breakfast

"Yes, connie?" steven answered not even looking up from what he was doing

"I.....have something I want to talk to you about" connie said as she tried to hide her obvious hurt expression 

"Really?, well what is it?" steven asked as he turned off the catcher and hug up his apron

"W-well, I was thinking....maybe we could go out?" connie asked nervously

"Oh?, That sounds like a good idea, spinel needs some fresh air" steven smiled

Connie clenched her fist in jealousy.

"Steven....I mean without spinel, just the 2 of us" connie explained

Steven stopped adruptly and looked at connie with the most shocked expression

"Without spinel!?, Connie how could you say such a thing!!" steven scolded her like a child

Connie flinched but breathed in, preapared for what was about to come

"Steven, its been so long since we've been out alone together, is it bad that I just want to spend some alone time with my husband?" connie begged

"Connie your acting selfish and childish" steven scolded again as he glared at her

Connie was taken aback and looked at him like he just slapped her.

"I'M BEING SELFISH?!" connie shouted

Steven instantly put a finger to his lips aand shushed her loudly but still glared at her.

"Connie be queit you'll wake up spinel" steven hissed as if he was talking to a child

"But stevwn-" connie tried to say

"No connie, its either we all go to together or we don't go at all, your being very selfish and unfair, how would you think spinel would feel if she heard you?" steven scolded once more

Connie was struggling to hold in her tears but ultimately gave up, what was the point, he was never going to change his mind.

"Ok" connie muttered 

"Good, and I don't want this conversation brung up again, especially around spinel, understood?" steven said sternly

Connie nodded but looked at the floor as hot tears pooled at her eyes. Steven walked past her without so much as a kiss upstairs to wake spinel as usual. Connie collapsed to the floor and let out a silent sob as to not draw attention from the two upstairs, she wobbled to her phone and called sadie.
