Hagrid might have been a bit upset when he first found out Harry, Ron and Hermione dropped Care of Magical Creatures their 6th year at Hogwarts. He felt betrayed. He felt hurt. That was until he realized they would always come to visit.

The year wasn't smooth so far though. Ron and Hermione had a bit of a bump in the road. So visits from all three of them at once came to a halt.

It wasn't for a few months until they began to visit as a trio again. They visited as often as possible. Although it was hard to find time with Quidditch and now Harry's detentions with Snape. They planned that this Sunday they would visit Hagrid.

Hagrid smiled as he sat alone in his hut. Today was Sunday. He had been looking forward to their visit.

He heard a knock at the door and he leapt out of his seat. Fang began to bark at the sound. Hagrid placed his hand on the handle and swung the door open.

"Hello Hagrid!" said Hermione with a bright smile. "Hello Hermione!" said Hagrid. He glanced over to Ron.

Ron gave a small wave and a half smile. You could tell something was bothering him. Hagrid glanced behind Ron and Hermione. His smile died a little bit. Harry wasn't there.

"Is Harry not coming?" Hagrid asked disappointedly. Ron groaned in response and Hermione gave Ron a look as she nudged him with her elbow.

"Well Hagrid. Um. Harry can't make it today." Hermione told the half giant. Hagrid looked disappointed, but he quickly put a smile back on his face.

"Well. That's alright, I suppose." sighed Hagrid. Hagrid led Ron and Hermione to the table. He began to pour them cups of tea. They all began to chat. Hermione talked much more than Ron.

"I heard about the quidditch match yesterday, Ron." said Hagrid. "Did you now?" groaned Ron. Hermione quickly nudged Ron's side again. Hagrid silently laughed.

"There must have been a big celebration in the common room." added Hagrid. "Yeah. Huge celebration." Ron rolled his eyes. Hagrid noticed Hermione was fighting the urge to slap him. This also made Hagrid silently laugh.

"So I thought Harry was free today?" asked Hagrid. Hermione looked at him guiltily. Ron stared at his cup of tea.

"Well he was free... I guess that's kinda my fault." said Hermione. Ron rolled his eyes.

"I'm sure you didn't make him not come Hermione." Hagrid assured her. Hermione chuckled to herself.

"So what's so important that he has to miss a visit?" Hagrid asked a little sourly. Ron stared out the window.

"Why don't you see for yourself." said Ron. Hagrid and Hermione walked towards the window.

Hagrid's eyes grew wide and his heart leap from his chest. For a moment he thought he saw Lily and James Potter. Instead he saw Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley walking along the grounds.

"I don't understand. Why is he hanging out with Ginny?" asked Hagrid obliviously.

His own question was answered. Harry and Ginny stopped and looked towards the castle. Harry turned towards Ginny and he kissed her.

Hagrid's eyes grew wide. He suddenly realized exactly what had been bothering Ron all day. His best friend was going out with his sister.

"Harry wanted to come visit today. He almost did until I told him he should spend time with Ginny. They only started going out yesterday. And I mean, he definitely deserves her. I've never seen either of them so happy." Hermione explained.

Ron glanced up at Harry and Ginny through the window again. His face relaxed. Maybe Hermione was right. He couldn't remember seeing Harry this happy, and Ginny hadn't been this happy since before she started at Hogwarts. He was being selfish.

Hagrid smiled. "He looks like a regular kid." He was truly reminded of Lily and James. It was history repeating itself. Hagrid couldn't feel sour or upset about Harry missing a visit anymore. In fact he felt more upset that Harry tried to visit rather than spend time with Ginny.

Hagrid was beaming. It seemed like only yesterday he brought Harry to the Dursley's, however that was already so many years ago.
