Meet Rebecca Walsh. Rebecca has just recently graduated from High School. Her father, Aaron Walsh, is one of the richest men in the country. He owns a multi million dollar company known as Walsh International. Rebecca is well aware of the fact that she is set for life as far as financial support is concerned, so continuing her education is not exactly at the top of her "to do" list. What is at the top of her "to do" list, however, is a college professor by the name of Carson C. Jones.

Mr. Jones is happily married, and has three children; two sons and a daughter. His older son, Carson "CJ" Jones, Junior is just about the same age as Rebecca, and happens to have a crush on her. Mr. Jones knows that Junior wants this girl, but he hasn't met her yet; he's only seen her through photos and heard her mentioned by his son.

As for the rest of Mr. Jones family... His wife Patricia is a surgeon at Thurston Hospital. His daughter, the middle child, is Isabelle and she attends Thurston High School, along with his youngest son, Jonah. They are a very wholesome family, with a standard set of American principles and from a distance they seem as if their life is perfect. Too perfect, according to Rebecca Walsh.

One day...

"Hey dad."

CJ is walking up to Mr. Jones' desk at Grayson University with books in his hand. Mr. Jones looks up from his seat and smiles. He removes his glasses and greets his son.

"Hey, Junior. Are you here to try to convince me to get you in my class again?"

"No dad. I just wanted to tell you, that the girl I was talking to you about a few weeks ago actually got accepted to Grayson."

"Oh did she? That's a good thing. I recall you mentioning that she wanted nothing to do with College Education. What changed her mind?"

"Well, I did. I feel like I missed my chance to ask her out during Senior year in High School, so why not try bringing her in Fresh as a Freshman to Grayson? She was surprisingly enthusiastic when I told her I knew some of the professors and that my dad was friends with them. She jumped at the thought of you possibly being her teacher one day."

"Oh that's great! I like her already! But listen to me, son; don't let this girl's presence in the school get in the way of your studies. You're off to a great start and I'd hate for you to mess this up."

CJ laughs a bit.

"I know, dad. But I did it for more than just being close to her. I really want to see everyone I went to High School with actually go forward in life, and for her to finally get out of her "I don't need college because I'm rich" phase, it is a great accomplishment."

"Very well said, son. I'm proud to hear you express yourself that way."

Later that day, Mr. Jones is approached in the hallway by a young lady with pale white skin and very dark black hair. She wears very noticeable red lipstick, which makes her stand out from the crowd.

"Mr. Jones...?"

"Yes, that's me. And to whom do I owe the-Wait a second... I recognize you. You were in my son's graduating class last year, yes. You're Walsh's kid, right? My son has told me all about you."

"He... told you I was Walsh's kid? He said that? Just like that?"

"Amongst other things, I guess, yeah... I hear you decided to take the next big step in your life. What can I do for you?"

"You ... Can do a lot... For me... Carson."

Mr. Jones grows a confused look on his face. He tilts his head to one side as he squints his eyes.

"Come again?"

"You can tell me what a girl has to do to get into your class, for instance."

"Well, I teach two classes here, Philosophy and Ethics. It doesn't take much to take Philosophy, but it all depends on what your major is."

"I'm gonna see what I can do..."

"What is your area of study? If I may ask..."

Rebecca begins to walk away from Mr. Jones, and as she walks away she speaks with a raised voice without looking at him.

"My area of study, Carson... Is your area of study... I'm not sure what will happen exactly, but rest assured, I will be seeing you real soon... We will be seeing a lot of each other, actually."

She turns around now and faces him as she walks away backward.

"And whatever you do, Professor Jones... Don't let my presence in this school get in the way of your studies!"

She winks her eye at him and turns to keep walking. Mr. Jones is slightly confused by everything she just said. None of it seems to make any sense, but he is left with a chillingly distinct feeling that this girl is up to no good.
