Mia is sitting at the front counter of Walsh Industries' main lobby. She is staring at the empty seat in which Brenda would normally be seated. Her saddened trance is broken by Aaron's voice approaching her.
"No one's reacted to Brenda's email, Mia... Why do you think that is?"
"Mr. Wal-- Aaron, sir... I don't... I don't know. Maybe out of respect for you. I mean the email did say some pretty juicy gossip about the big boss. Not sure anyone would wanna touch the topic right away."
"They're afraid... Okay, do this, then... Open the message as yourself, and hit 'Reply All'... Confirm to everyone that what Brenda's email said is true, and that you're not ashamed to admit it... That you're tired of hiding it, in fact... However you wanna word it... I'll do the rest."
"Right away, Mr. Walsh."
"No more 'Mr. Walsh,' Mia."
"Sorry 'bout that."
Aaron walks away and heads to the elevator. Mia begins to type on her computer. Just a few seconds after Aaron enters the elevator, Mia's desk phone rings.
"Walsh Industries, this is Mia. How may i direct your--"
"My God woman you sound like a recording!"
Rebecca's loud voice on the other side of the line makes Mia pause for a second.
"Oh... Hi Becky. Your dad just got into the elevator, I doubt he's in his office yet."
"No, I called to talk to you... Listen! I wanna know what to do about this guy I wanna hump. He doesn't seem to know I want him, so... What do I do?"
"Be yourself."
"Really, Mia? Are you serious with 'be yourself'? Being myself has gotten me into a lot of trouble before! So, no thanks. I don't wanna be myself, fuck that, I wanna be you. Tell me how you would handle it."
"Well, being myself... I mean I'm sure you were yourself when you got James to ask you out--"
"DON'T... You hear me? Do NOT bring him up... Ever... Fuck's wrong with you?"
"Sorry, I--"
"Just tell me something, quick! I'm about to walk into class!"
Mia takes a deep breath.
"All I know is college kids usually like a girl more if they feel ignored. So find a friend or someone close to him and act extremely friendly, but hardly pay mind to the one you really like. Your boy will be drawn to you almost instantly. It's what always used to work for me."
"Okay, cool, thanks, bye!"
Mia hangs up the phone and looks at it with a smile after she does so. She shakes her head and continues to type her message on the computer.
Meanwhile, at Grayson University, Rebecca struts into Mr. Jones' classroom. He looks at her with a bit of confusion.
"What brings you to my class...?"
She smiles at him as she walks around to the right side of his desk. She sits on top of his desk while staring at him.
"I just wanted to knoq if your classroom was... You know... Fully loaded today as well."
"As you can see, it clearly is."
"Just tell me... Carson... Anything at all that I need to do to get into your... Class... I'll do it... Happily..."
"You don't understand. It's not my choice. Like I said before, I have too many students in each class as it is. In fact, you're interrupting one of those classes right now."
