Ch. 8: Congratulations.

Y/N's POV:

After taking a bath, I quickly wore my demon slayer uniform along with my haori. I went to find my blade and saw that it was in my closet.

'Iguro must've put this here.'

I took it and put it in the blade holder on my waist. I drank a lot of water and put a toast in my mouth then I left my mansion.

As I made my way to the meeting grounds, I saw all of the hashiras there except Shinobu and Giyuu.

'They must be fucking.'

As I walked towards them, they all looked at me but I didn't mind it.

"Ohayo." I greeted at them.

"Y/N!!!" They all shouted as they run towards me.

"We heard you cried, are you alright?" Gyomei asked.

"Who made you cry? I'll flamboyantly behead them." Uzui said while shaking me.

"Making Y/N cry is a violation of the demon slayer corps! We must severely punish them!" Rengoku said.

"I'll put double the scars I have on them." Sanemi said.

"Tell us so I can kill the person before I forget it." Muichiro said.

Mitsuri's POV:

'That person is so cruel! Making Y/N cry! Unforgivable!'

Y/N's POV:

"W-w-wait, stop shaking me or my toast will fall!" I shouted but they didn't listen.

And then the disaster happened.

MY TOAST FELL.

We all looked at the toast that was on the ground. Then, they all looked at me and saw that I was in the verge of dying.

"M-M-M-MY TOAST!!!!!" I shouted as I dramatically fell on the floor.

They all just watched me as I became a child screaming and crying when their toast fell on the floor.

(5 minutes later)

After my nagging, Mitsuri shoved a toast in my mouth making me shut up and eat it.

We all went to sit towards the master's mansion while waiting for the others to arrive.

They started a conversation except me and Iguro. I was sitting in the right branch of the tree while he was sitting in the left branch.

"Yo." I said

"Yo." He replied.

"Thank you for yesterday."

"No problem. I'm here if you need somebody."

"But don't you like Mitsuri?" I asked.

"I love her." He said.

"Aww~ I ship it~" I teased.

"Urusai." He said while blushing.

"So where is Giyuu and Shinobu?"

"Why are you asking me?"

"Well, they are always the first one to appear every meeting but-" I said but got cut off by him saying-

"They're fucking."

"Is that so?" I asked trying to hold back my tears.

He noticed this and immediatly apologized.

"O-oi! Don't cry! I was just joking!" He said nevously.

"I-i know....." I said with a sad voice.
