Y/N's POV:

I was on my way back to the headquarters while carrying Genya on my back. But then I remembered something.

'Ah shit, Sanemi is gonna scold me.'

"Genya."

"Hm?"

"I'm sorry."

"Sorry for what?"

"I couldn't protect you."

"It's ok Y/N-san, I'm a demon slayer so no worries."

'If  you only knew how overprotective your brother is.'

I sighed at the thought.

"Are you ok Y/N-san?"

"Of course I am."

"Are you sure?"

"Yep! No scratches right here!"

"You're so powerful Y/N-san!" He complimented.

"Thank you."

"If only I knew breathing techniques then my brother wouldn't hate me."

"Genya, please don't think like that."

"I'm sorry Y/N-san, it's just-"

"Y/N!!!!!" A familiar voice shouted while running towards me.

'Speak of the devil.'

"What do you need Sanemi?" I asked.

"Y-you....." He muttered while looking at Genya angrily. Genya then flinched and hid his face on my back.

"Sanemi, you're scaring the kid. Yamero."  I said.

"Let's talk later. We're pretty tired right now." I added as I continue walking towards the entrance of the head quarters.

'I didn't even notice that the headquarters were within my sight. I was too focused looking at the clouds.'

I sighed again at the thought.

When I reached the entrance, I saw that the hashiras are seating on the meeting grounds.

"Sanemi? What's going on?" I asked Sanemi from behind.

"Meeting."

"Again?"

"Apparently."

As I walked closer towards the meeting grounds, I saw them look at me.

"Yo." I said tiredly.

"Y/N!" Mitsuri shouted as she tackled me in a hug.

"Mitsuri not now, I'm carrying Genya on my back."

"What happened to him?"

"Hurt."

"Demon?" She asked and I nodded.

"I'll join ya guys in a few minutes. I'll drop of Genya in the butterfly mansion and quickly clean myself." I said and she nodded.

I quickly left to go the butterfly mansion. Once I got there, I dropped Genya in his room. I laid him comfortably in his bed and I called Aoi to help him. I then said goodbye and quickly left to go to my mansion.

After getting into my mansion, I quickly dropped my blade in the kitchen table and went to the bathroom. After bathing, I neat myself and got my blade. I then left my mansion and went to the meeting grounds.

When I got there, I saw that master is already there.

'Great.'

I just sighed.

I suddenly appeared in front of master and bowed.

"I apologize for being late master, I shall accept any punishment." I apologized.

"It's okay Y/N. We all know you just got back from a mission." He said.

"Thank you, master." I said and sat beside Rengoku.

"Now that Y/N is here, I shall get to the topic." Master said.

"Oh, but first please report about your mission Y/N." He added.

"Very well." I said.

"I saw Muzan, and he was convincing a young girl to be a demon." I said.

"Did she accept it?" Shinobu asked.

I didn't answer.

"Did she accept it?" Uzui asked.

"No, so he killed her. But I've sent my prayers." I answered.

"That's all?" Master said and I shaked my head.

"I saw 5 dead Mizunotos. Can I ask how many Mizunoto did you send, master?" I said.

"I've sent 7." He answered.

"I didn't find the other two, please forgive me." I said.

"It's alright. They're resting in the butterfly mansion." Master said and I nodded.

"Last one, I saw the Upper Moon 1." I said.

"Did you defeat him?" Rengoku asked.

"No."

"Why?" Iguro asked.

"Sunrise."

"Is that all?" Master asked.

"Hai."

"Very well." He said.

"Then let's go to the other topic." He added.

"Since we have 10 hashiras, I'll be sending 2 hashiras each in these 5 missions."

'Fun.'

"First, Giyuu and Shinobu. At Betula Forest. 100 demons were rumored to be living there."

'Tsk.'

"Does anyone have any objections regarding with this duo?" Master asked.

I didn't say anything but suprisingly

The 7 hashiras raised their hands.

"Please switch Shinobu with Y/N." They all said in unison.

'Wut?'

"Huh?" I asked.

"Reason?" Master asked.

"Because a forest is perfect for Y/N's breathing!" They all said in unison.

'That's true.....'

"Very well-" Master said but got stopped by Shinobu.

"I refuse!" Shinobi said.

"Majority." Sanemi said.

"He's right Shinobu." Mitsuri said.

"Tsk." Shinobu muttered.

"Well, this is now a final decision. Giyuu and Y/N. At Betula Forest. Understood?" Master said.

"Hai!" We all said in unison.

'Unbelievable.....'

And then Master continued to group us.
