Y/N's POV:

As we continued walking, I nudged Giyuu.

"Oi. Just tell me already." I whined.

He sighed.

"You're annoying." He said.

You flinched.

'Did this bitch just call me annoying?'

'ME? EXCUSE YOU-'

"And your a loner" I backfired and sped up my pace.

His eyes widened as I say that.

'Take that sucker.'

"Are you mad?" He asked as he catches up with me.

"Absolutely not."

'Ain't it obvious?'

"You are."

"Then why ask?"

He didn't answer.

I sighed.

"Y/N."

"What?"

"I have something to tell you."

As he said that, my heart beated faster.

'W-what will he say?'

"G-go on."

I fidget my fingers while waiting for him to speak.

He took a deep breath.

'Must be something serious.'

"I like y-" He said but I cut him off.

"Oh wait! Tell me later, we've arrived at the forest."

"Ah." Is all he said.

"Let's go." I said as we jump on the trees heading inside the forest.

As we continued to roam in the forest, we hear nothing but silence.

'This is weird. Master said there are 100 demons in here.'

"Giyuu."

He nodded his head as he knew what I signalled.

We split up.

Giyuu went to the right while I went to the left.

As I continue to jump on the trees, I suddenly remembered something.

'Yikes. This is bad. I forgot that the 100 demons in here are only rumored.'

I sighed at the thought.

'If only I knew earlier then we wouldn't had split up.'

Giyuu's POV:

Now that me and Y/N have split up, I suddenly got worried about her.

What if she gets attacked?

What if she needs my help?

What if she dies?

She won't. She is strong. That's why she came back from her latest mission without any dirt on her.

But......

How will I confess to her?

...

Just don't die Y/N.

Y/N's POV:

As I roam inside the forest, I suddenly heard a branch breaking.

I didn't stop but I knew what caused it.

Someone is following me.

If I stopped then the person would've known that I knew that someone was following me.

'What should I do?'

"Earth Breathing First Form....." I muttered.

"Astonished Leaves!" I shouted as I quickly got my blade and swang my sword behind me.

As I put my blade back in my waist. I heard a thud. I turned my head to see what it is.

A demon body without a head.

'So there are demons here.'

I looked down to see the demon head on the ground. I jumped off the tree and landed on the ground.

I turned my body towards the head and picked it up.

'Disgusting.'

The head then disappeared on my hand along with the body on the tree.
Then I heard many shufflings in the bushes.

'Yabai.'

Then 10 demons came out.

"What a pretty lady~" A demon said.

'I am.'

"Since your that beautiful, you might as well be tasty." Another demon said.

I grabbed my sword.

"Earth Breathing Fifth Form....." I muttered.

I quickly disappeared in front of them and appeared behind them.

Their eyes widened.

Then they started laughing.

"BWAHHAHAHAHAH! YOU THINK YOU CAN ESCAPE-" A demon said laughing but got cut off by something.

Their heads are now on the ground.

"W-what?"

"T-too fast....."

"H-how?"

"Nature's Punishment." I muttered while still holding my blade handle.

"S-she didn't even took her blade....."

"I did." I said as I removed my hand from my blade handle.

"Eh?!" They all shouted in unison.

(You took out your blade and killed them then put it back on your waist with inhuman speed. So it looked like you just held your blade handle and disappeared then appeared behind them. )

"I am tasty. But you can't get a taste." I say as I walk away from them with my back facing them.

They scream as they disappear.

As I walk in the forest. Snow started dropping from the sky.

'Snow? In this season?'

As I continued to walk, I noticed something.

'Must be their leader's power. Gotta be careful.'

And I still continue to walk, but I saw a person with a tied-black hair and haori.

"Giyuu!" I shouted as I ran towards him.

He turned his head towards me.

"Glad to see your safe." I said as I nudge him.

"Same to you."

'Wow, he looks good with the snow falling on him'

"So, did you find any demon?" I asked.

"I killed eleven." He said.

"I also killed eleven." I said.

"So that makes it twenty two....." I added.

"Then let's go kill the other seventy eight!" I said.

"Ok." Is all he said.

Then we continued walking.
