Let The Games Begin - AJR
The first test was a fifty-meter dash. Izumi was up against the angry blonde explosion boy who couldn't stop staring at her and the green-haired boy. She crouched at the starting line. Show 'em whose boss, Boss. At the starting signal, Izumi took off. She made it to the end and heard the robot call out, "4.05 seconds." Bakugo landed soon after with a time of 4.13 seconds. The greenette ended up with 7.02.
Next was the grip test. Izumi squeezed the device with about half of her normal amount of strength. She didn't want to show off too much. It beeped and gave her a reading of 90.7 kilograms (about 200 lbs). It wasn't the best, but that was on purpose. She still caught the attention of a couple of the girls. One of them was the one with black hair who arrived before she did this morning. "Wow. You are really strong. How did you do that?" Izumi put a hand to her head in a false gesture of nervousness. "Lots of training. I've had a lot of time to practice after my parents died." She decided to put down the dead parents' card in hopes of getting some of them to open up. The League wanted info on them, after all.
They gave her words of sympathy. All she saw was pity. The blackette spoke up, "I know what you mean. My quirk takes lots of practice. To be able to create something, I need to know its exact anatomical structure." The girls made impressed noises. Izumi memorized the info for later.
The next two tests, the standing long jump and sustained sideways jumps, were easy. She was able to glean some more information for the League about the students. After that was the pitch test. Uraraka managed to get an infinity, which even Izumi found impressive. When she took her turn, she pulled back her arm and threw the ball. It soured out of sight. Aizawa held up the screen. It read 905.2. Exactly 200 more than Bakugo's demonstration. Aizawa looked up, unimpressed. "This is a quirk assessment test. You are supposed to be using your quirk for these tasks, but you haven't used yours at all. Do it again but use your quirk this time." Several voices from the class questioned what Aizawa had said.
"She hasn't used her quirk at all?"
"She's done every task without using her quirk?"
"There's no way that's possible."
Izumi ignored all of them after a few seconds. She rolled her eyes and held a hand over the ground. "Abaddon, it's time to kick some ass" Red mist rose around her. It drifted upward and pooled around her face. She inhaled the cloud through her nose and breathed back out of her mouth as her eyes shone a bright ruby red. A soft voice spoke up above the rest in her head. What can I do for you today, Izumi? Abaddon was the only female spirit and the only one to call her by name. "I need your strength. Happy to help. Izumi felt more strength flow into her body. Her muscles seemed to swell from the extra power. She took another ball in her hand and cocked her arm back. She threw the ball with everything she could. It disappeared. Aizawa held up the device again. 2,542.8 meters. Nearly three times what she had gotten without it. Everyone's jaw dropped.
"You are to use your quirk for the remaining duration of the test. If you don't, I'll expel you instead. No matter what your potential is." Izumi nodded her head and kept a calm look on her face. Inside her head, Abaddon wanted to, well, give him Hell. She was the embodiment of wrath. Who is he to tell us what to do? I say we beat his face in. "Calm down, Abaddon. We'll get in trouble if we hurt him." Fine. You're no fun. Everyone was looking at her. She looked back. They looked away. She watched as the greenette nearly got in a fight with Bakugo. On the first day. Geeze, and you thought I had anger issues.
The rest of the test went by quickly. She used Abaddon for all of them. It was good enough for Aizawa. The students were looking at her oddly, but she ignored them. She didn't need friends. She was here for a reason. When they were all done, Izumi addressed Abaddon, "You may go. Thank you." No problem, Izumi. Kick some butts for me. She rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. A red cloud appeared from her mouth and drifted off into the air as she exhaled.
By this point, Aizawa was announcing the results. Izumi had ranked first. The black-haired girl was after her. Iida was fifth, Bakugo fourth, and Uraraka 11th. In last place was the greenette. He had big tears in his eyes. "And by the way, I was lying about the expulsion. It was a logical ruse to get you to try your hardest." A few students cried out in outrage. Greenie actually cried; glad he wasn't expelled. The black-haired girl looked disappointed, "You guys actually believed him. It was super obvious that he was lying."
"You can go back to the classroom now. Your curriculum sheets should be on your desk. And Midoriya, go to Recovery Girl and get yourself patched up." He walked off. Almost the entire class surrounded Izumi. "OMG! That was amazing!" An empty uniform spoke from in front of her. "I'm Hagakure Toru. What's your name?" Izumi stepped back in surprise. She was incredibly energetic. It was an interesting change from her quiet days in the apartment, tough days of training at the League base, and the constant voices in her head. "Takahashi Yue, but you can call me Taka." She gave a strained smile that no one could see behind her mask.
The girls had begun to direct her back toward the locker rooms to change to their regular uniforms. They kept asking her questions about her quirk. She just gave them vague answers. She didn't want to give too much away to be used against her when she inevitably had to betray them. The girls chatted none stop as they changed. Izumi pushed it to the back of her mind like the rest of the voices. When someone tapped her shoulder, she jumped and turned, fists up. Yaoyorozu jumped away from her, startled. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. We asked a question, and you didn't answer." Izumi relaxed. "I'm sorry, my mind was elsewhere. What was the question?" A few of them giggled. "We asked if you knew Bakugo before you came here?" Izumi frowned. "No. Why?"
"He couldn't stop staring at you. It was like he recognized you but wasn't totally sure about it. He looked almost disappointed about it." Izumi's eyebrows shot up at that. Izumi would have to look into that. If he knew about her past, he could help her remember. He also might be able to tell her what happened.
"No. I've never met him before in my life."

Izumi asked Siren to meet her at her apartment after school. She was already there when she walked in. "What is the problem?" Her robotic voice didn't have emotions, but her facial expression said she was worried. Izumi dropped herself onto the couch. "I think I found someone from my past." Siren's eyes widened. "Who? Where? Do you have their name? If we can look them up, we can see if anyone they knew matched your description." Izumi was surprised by Siren's enthusiasm. She had never seen this much emotion from the girl except when she talked about her past. "Calm down. I have his name. Bakugo Katsuki. He lives in Musutafu, where that lab that I robbed was."
Siren instantly stood and started pacing. In the past couple of weeks, she had upgraded her speech device. It was now connected directly to her thoughts. She could turn it off and on at will to use her quirk. It also made conversations easier. "I'll look into this immediately. You stay here. Remember, all the staff of UA are pro heroes. They may be watching your apartment for when you come and go. The only reason I can come over is that I have Kurogiri warp me directly into the house. Just keep an eye out." She sent a text to Kurogiri and stepped through the warp gate that appeared a few moments later. "Oh, one last thing. Shigaraki expects profiles on all the teachers and students by the end of the week." That was simple. Most of the teachers were well-known pros. Info would be easy to find. The students might be slightly harder.
School was going to be interesting tomorrow.

This is the other half of the previous chapter. I cut Mineta out cause I wanted it to be an even 20 in the class, and I needed a way to do that, so he got the boot. Plus, he's just creepy and serves no purpose.
Ciao for now
