"How did you get hurt?" She asked him, carefully planting the bandaid on his knuckles, trying not to give too much pressure.

"Umm, that's none of your business." Yurim was taken away by his rude talk. Or maybe it's just the way he talks? Maybe. She thought.

"Are you always this rude?" She questioned, closing the first aid box waiting for his response.

But nothing came.

She observed the silence and went back to look at him, only to see him staring back at her. His stare was intense. His eyes were a maze you couldn't help but get lost in.

"None of my business I guess." Yurim smiled and stood up taking the first aid box with her, striding towards the storage room to keep it back in place. As she was done, she closed the door and returned back to where they were seated 5 seconds ago, but he wasn't there anymore.

Did he leave? Just like that?

Yurim thought of stepping out of the store to check him, as she made sure to lock the shelf where all the money were kept. And as she expected, there was no sign of him. She looked at both the direction of the road but to her avail, he wasn't anywhere near.

Yurim sighed turning around to get back in the store but a slender figure stood in front of her making her flinch.

"깜짝이야. (oh my god.)"  Yurim nearly had a heart attack by his sudden presence. "You scared me." She said placing her palm over her chest to calm down her beating heart while she continued. "I thought you left."

"I wanted some fresh air." He said taking slow steps towards the store diner, sat on one of the chairs, cracking his neck bones and eventually getting relaxed.

Hot and intimidating. Yurim thought. She couldn't take her eyes off his perfectly sculpted figure.

He suddenly averted his eyes towards the girl, catching her right at the moment checking him out. He smirked when he saw a light red tint began spreading on her cheeks, as soon as he caught her. She quickly glanced down at her shoes, clearly flustered at her own behaviour. She cleared her throat and strode towards another chair, which was a seat opposite of him.

A solid 5 minutes passed by, with no one opening their mouths. And to Yurim, it seemed like he wasn't going to talk much and it'll turn more awkward as time passes. So Yurim decided to start a conversation since she was getting bored just sitting there and doing nothing.

"What's your name?" She asked curiously. Apart from two to three meetings, they both never got to know their names.

He turned his head towards her direction. He was contemplating whether he should answer it or not. Also, he couldn't just trust anyone like that.
