After three long years, it was graduation day. And the kids that he'd come to think of as nearly his own were leaving.

Aizawa let out a long breath as he gathered his things from the teacher's lounge. The graduation ceremony had just ended and he had to admit, he almost shed a tear.

His students had come so far and none of them were remotely recognizable as the kids he'd met all that time ago. As he made his way through the halls, he let his mind wander just a little.

Sure, graduation was never easy but there had been something special about this class. Having All-Might's protege as a student probably contributed to it but each of them had ended up standing out in the end, despite any reservations he may have had.

The sound of voices up ahead snapped him back to reality and Aizawa slowed his pace, weighing the merits of social interaction.

It wasn't a hard decision to make. He'd recognize that shrill voice and blonde hair anywhere. "Mic," he started as he approached them then froze in his tracks as he saw who else was there.

For a moment he considered turning around but it was too late.

"Eraser!" Present Mic beamed, turning to face his friend. "Look who's here!"

Aizawa smiled stiffly, "Ms. Joke, I wasn't expecting to see you today."

Ms Joke grinned, "Hey Eraser, how's it going? Sad about your students? I know you actually liked the graduates this year."

"I suppose," Aizawa responded with a shrug. "What about you? Shouldn't you be at your ceremony?"

"We ended earlier than you," Ms Joke explained. "Now a bunch of us teachers are going out for drinks. You should join us."

Aizawa tried not to grimace. He'd been hoping to go home, take a nap, and then get a head start on some paperwork. "I don't know..."

"Come on, it'll be fun," Present Mic chimed in, "All the biggest schools will be there, we'll get to catch up with some people."

"Well," Aizawa hesitated. It was hard saying no to one of his oldest friends.

Ms Joke crossed her arms and shot him a teasing smile, "You've earned this, relax for a change. I promise I won't even propose to you the whole night."

With a heavy sigh and an exasperated shake of his head, Aizawa relented. "Alright fine, I'll come. You two are worse than my students."

"All right!" Present Mic cheered, throwing his arms up, "Let's go!"

"Is anyone else from UA joining us?" Aizawa asked as the three began to make their way towards the front of the school.

Ms Joke shook her head, "The others are either busy or already on their way. I just came to round up the stragglers."

"You're telling me if I'd just waited a little longer, I could have avoided this?" Aizawa grumbled, allowing just a hint of a smile to show he wasn't really upset.

"Nope, I was definitely going to find you and drag you with us, even if you hadn't shown up then," Ms Joke told him with a laugh. "You don't have enough fun."

Aizawa shook his head, "You two are lucky I'm in a good mood today."

"Here's the address," Present Mic interrupted, "You can meet us there right?" Aizawa gave a quick nod and Present Mic gave him a friendly clap on the shoulder. "Awesome! And don't you dare try to escape, we will notice."

With that, he headed off towards his car and Ms Joke did the same. "See you there, Eraser!" he called and Aizawa gave him a small wave of his own.
