Luz's pov

I wake slowly looking around my room I was still tired but I knew I have to get up for school so I get up do my daily routines and leave my for school it's hard to not think of amity as a friend I see her as a... crush it's hard to understand it I know we shouldn't be together and amity's abusive parents would kill her and maybe me but it's like a Romeo and Juliet thing I'm guessing it's like that I'm not sure... and after all amity probably sees me as a friend well guess there's more fish in the sea? I never was good at saying that reference but here I am talking myself, I got to school and looked around people flooding the halls so I join them trying to get to my locker I finally get there and see amity getting stuff out her locker but the sight of the girl just made me skip a beat My heart starts racing I- I feel really....

"Luz?... Luz!"
I woke up in this bed in a white room with amity and the nurse "what happened?" I say looking around about to have a panic attack "you passed out dear you'll be fine" the nurse said and hands me a ice pack "ice pack?" I've been in the human world I lived there I know not to take a ice pack I could have broke all my bones and come back to class with a small ice pack. "No thank you I'll be fine" I say and stand up a bit dizzy but I'll manage.
I got to class I sit in my chair and fiddle with my fingers I know it's bad to not pay attention but I'm bored I can't help it

School seems to go by fast so I walk out and look around I turn around and see Amity "hey luz!" I smile at her "hey amity" amity is tripped over her foot and landed on me making us both fall we hit the ground amity on top of me It's impossible to not blush at this point "w-wow amity I don't think where ready for that" I joke she blushed and giggled and got up I got up as well and smile at her "cmon let's go to my place" amity said I nod and followed her home it's hard to confess my love for her.... I wish I have would have her as my own girlfriend but knowing amity's father won't let her have another girl to be her lover...
