year 3 timeeee ;) dw a LOT more draco action hehe

My head rested on George's shoulder as we both stared out the window of the train. Fred was on the other side of me, reading The Daily Prophet. Across from me sat Cho and Luna.

My eye caught the newspaper headline in Fred's hands, "Who's that?" I pointed to the moving picture of a man, holding a prison ID and cackling into the camera.

Fred looked up and flipped the newspaper over to see where I was pointing, "That there is Sirius Black. Killed twelve muggles with one spell, he did. Loyal to You-Know-Who."

"And he's just escaped?" Cho chimed in.

"Just vanished out of Azkaban," Fred snapped his fingers.

I sat up, lifting my head off George. Everyone had become engaged in the conversation.

"Do you suppose he'll come to Hogwarts?" Luna asked with a hint of fear.

"You best hope not," George said, "He's the most dangerous murderer there is. Gotta be quite off his rocker now too — all those years in Azkaban."

"I suppose once you've killed someone you're already off your rocker," I said, "And what's so bad about Azkaban?"

"They've got dementors," Fred answered. I was still visibly confused so he continued, "They're flying beasts. They like — suck all the happiness out of you. Til' your just a shell of sorts."

    "Lovely," I muttered.

I felt sick, but only because I hadn't had any food since that morning before I boarded the Express, "Where has the trolley gone?" I craned my neck to glimpse the outside of the compartment.

"It just passed a few minutes ago," said Luna.

I got up to follow it, my stomach grumbling.

"Wait," Cho caught my robe, "It's probably in the Slytherin compartments by now. Are you sure?"

I shrugged. What was the big deal? After asking if anyone else wanted anything and receiving all no's, I set out down the train.

I had almost gotten to it — I spotted the trolley through the window of the next car.

The worst feeling suddenly came over me. The train skidded to a halt, earning many groans and sighs from students. I caught myself on the wall of the train. Everything suddenly became freezing cold, and I saw the windows freeze up. My vision blurred and my legs weakened.

That's when I saw it— a levitating cloaked figure. It had no face, and the air seemed to disappear as it got closer to me. I swayed, dizziness overcoming me. I heard a compartment door open, and felt a pair of arms snake around my waist, pulling me into the space. I let the darkness consume me, and I passed out.

    "Give her this. It'll help."

    "Chocolate?"

    "Just trust me."

    "Alright. Thank you, sir."

My eyes flew open as I heard the compartment door close. I was laying on the lap of someone. A Hufflepuff.

"Hello," he smiled at me, "I'm Cedric Diggory."

"I'm Bella Jones," I groaned and my hand shot up to my head, "What happened?"

"Dementors. They came aboard the train. You were inches away from one before I pulled you away." Cedric answered.

I sat up abruptly, making Cedric jump, "Why are they here?!"
