a/n: good morning (only if you're in cali like me)! i am currently sitting in my biology honors class on zoom, not paying attention at all ;) i decided to post this chapter right now because i just couldn't wait — so here ya go my loves

     "Looks like we have Divination and Care of Magical Creatures together today. And we got DADA later in the week." Harry pointed to my schedule, "Ron and Hermione have those with us too."

"Great!" I smiled at Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Together, we sat down at the Gryffindor table. I sat in between the twins, and across from us sat the trio, "Hope the new teacher for DADA is good this year."

    "He was nice on the tra — "

Our conversations were interrupted by a bunch of Slytherins at the table near us. A girl named Pansy Parkinson yelled to Harry, "Hey, Potter! Potter! The dementors are coming Potter! Woooooo!"

Everyone looked up to see Pansy, who was now laughing at Draco. He was amusing the rest of his friends by pretending to faint.

"Git," Fred, George, and I muttered simultaneously.

I felt a tap on my shoulder. Crouching down out of sight of the Slytherin table, was Blaise Zabini.

"Uhm.. hi, Blaise."

"Hi, Bella. Malfoy is being a prick today," he whispered.

"I thought that was a daily occurrence."

"I just thought it may benefit you to know that he wasn't so brave either when the dementors boarded the train. Nearly wet himself."

"No way," I grinned at this new information.

"You didn't hear it from me though," Blaise winked at me and snuck off.

"Wait a minute, Hermione," Ron was looking at Hermione's paper when I turned back around, "they've messed up your schedule. Look — they've got you down for about ten subjects a day."

    "Ten?" I exclaimed, "I can barely get through one!"

    "There isn't even enough time," Ron said.

    "I'll manage," Hermione shrugged, "I've fixed it all with Professor McGonagall."

    Ron laughed, "Look. See this morning? Nine o'clock, Divination. And underneath, nine o'clock, Muggle Studies..." he continued to read off all her subjects, and so many of them were at the same time.

    Harry, the twins, and I shared an eyebrow raise.

    "How are you supposed to be in three classes at once?" Ron finally finished.

    "Don't be silly. Of course I won't be in three classes at once."

    "Ah, I see. You'll have clones then," I laughed.
~~~~~~~~
    Later that morning was Divination. Ron and Harry had left before me, and Hermione was nowhere to be seen. So I was walking to class alone.
    And I was late.
    The North Tower took forever to find, and when I did, I had to climb up thousands of stairs.
    At the top, was a trapdoor, that opened to reveal a — tea shop?
    The classroom was filled with tables, all accompanied by students. Velvet drapes, covered the walls, contrasting the gold accents.
    I saw the trio at one table, and waved. As they waved back, I realized there were not many places to sit.
    "Ah!" shouted a voice. My eyes went to the front of the room, to see the professor standing and staring at me, "I am Professor Trelawney. Welcome to Divination! I knew you would be quite late. My Inner Eye sensed it."
