Erynn's P.O.V.

Who was this guy? I thought to myself as I stood up from where I was hunched up in the corner. I started walking away, hoping that the guy would just leave and go home to wherever he was staying.

"Wait," he grabbed onto my arm and I froze, "I never got your name."

"Why would you want my name?" I didn't turn around to look at him. I didn't want Niall to see my ugly face, if that was even his real name.

"Because...because I want to help you," he said softly, "how did you even get here anyways? Where do you live?"

I scoffed, "I'm not telling you where I live. You'll probably never talk to me again if I did anyways..."

"I honestly doubt that."

"No...you will run, trust me," I said, a tear trickling down my face thinking of all the people who have betrayed me.

"Hey, turn around," Niall said and before I could say more he grabbed my other arm and spun me around.

I yelped and accidentally looked him in the eye. Holy crap! Even in the dim light I could still see that his eyes were very, very blue. I strayed my eyes away from his and tried to pull out of his grasp.

"Niall, I really have to go now."

"Let me drive you home."

"No."

"Why not?" Niall asked, his crystal eyes starting down into mine.

"Just 'cuz..." I muttered, looking away from those beautiful eyes.

"Fine! Then tell me your name and I'll leave you alone."

For some reason that thought made me sad. What's wrong with me? I thought to myself, quickly ridding my mind of those thoughts.

"Fine, my name is Erynn," I said. Finally! He'll leave me alone now, then I can finally go back home and try to survive what was called 'my life.'

I started to turn around to walk away when I felt hands wrap around my waist. Before I could react I was hoisted up over Niall's shoulder and he was walking towards his car.

"Niall! Let me go!" I yelled, trying everything in my power to get him to release me, but damn that was a fine piece of ass...stop! STOP Erynn! Stop thinking this sh*t. Your never going to see him again anyways...tears started forming. Damn, what's with the waterworks?

"Niall...please? Let me go..." I sniffed, my voice cracking.

"Crap," Niall muttered, placing me back down on the ground, "I'm sorry Erynn. I didn't mean it..."

I wiped the tears from my eyes, "It's alright Niall, really. It's my own fault."

Niall grabbed my chin and tilted my head up. He stared at me intently, his breath fanning my face "Let me drive you home, please."

"Your not gonna give up are you?"

"Nope," Niall gave me a small smile and led me towards his car. Wow, it was a 350 Z. My dream car...

"This is your car?"

Niall opened the door and I sat in, taking in the smell of leather, "No, unfortunately. It's just a rental, what a shame though."

Oh, I gave a small smile and when Niall closed the door I pinched myself, wishing that this was all just a dream and that I would be at home in my bed. Ouch, never mind...I thought, rubbing my arm.

"You alright love?" Niall asked, taking in my red arm and sullen face.

"Just peachy."

Niall laughed and for the first time I actually got a good look at him. His hair was blondish-brown. As if he was letting his hair grow out and he had braces. His eyes, damn those eyes... And that smile...god, why did he have to be so perfect? He was wearing a navy blue hoodie that was probably hiding a very toned body and he was wearing beige pants that fit perfectly. God, why can't I be that good looking? Or be half of all that?

I was so caught up of comparing myself to Niall that I didn't notice him talking to me, "Hello? Erynn?"

"Sorry," I blushed, "what was that?"

"Where do you live?"

Riiiight...great I have to tell him where I live. Woo...

"You can just drop me off at the nearest gas station. My house is probably not even on your way home," I said, hoping that he would just agree with me.

"Nah it probably will be. Now c'mon, tell me your address so I can get you home safe and sound."

Pshh, safe and sound? Yeah right. My house in practically the exact opposite.

"Erynn?"

"Right, umm my house is on Vryne Street, so just turn left at the third street light and turn left again when you see a library."

"Alright E. Can I call you that? E? If you don't like it then I can stop..." Niall looked at me as he pulled away from the abandoned building.

"It's fine, if you want to call me that," A small smile made its way onto my lips as I looked out the window.

"So E, lets play 20 questions."

"Okay then. You can start first if you want."

"Okay, whats your favorite color?"

"Red and black," I said still looking out the window, "turn left here."

Niall nodded and turned on the blinker and made the turn.

I asked, "What's your real name?"

Niall paused, his forehead scrunching up, "I told you didn't I?"

"Yeah, but I want to know your full name."

"Fine...it's Niall, Niall Horan," he looked at me as if he was expecting me to jump up or grow a head or something.

"Oh I see," I looked at him and gave him a small grin.

Niall looked at me, his expression of disbelief, "Emm that's all your gonna say?"

I was confused, "umm yeaah...why? Are you a celebrity or something?" I laughed, trying to break the awkward tension in the air.

Niall looked at me, his eyebrows raised as if in disbelief, "errr...never mind. So where do you turn left again?"

I told him the directions again and it was silent as Niall drove closer and closer to my home. The houses were getting smaller and smaller and now we were passing by run down apartments.

My voice shook, "My house is that one," I pointed towards top floor in the second last apartment on the street and Niall slowly stopped the car.

Niall turned to me wide eyed, "Erynn...THIS is your house?"
