All Your Little Things

Chapter 5

HARRY'S POV

I stepped out of the limo holding her cold hands in mine and smiling for the cameras. The flashes were blinding but I kind of liked the tiny black dots that appeared when you blinked, as weird as that sounds. I wrapped my arm around Taylor's tiny waist and posed for the paparazzi, giving them my signature lop sided smile. I slipped away from her side as a interviewer asked her some questions and went to go take pictures with the boys. I turned and saw that Niall was looking at the floor a lot of the time and he seemed pretty down. Huh, I thought, I'm going to ask him whats wrong later We were at another award show tonight and I was really excited because we'd been nominated for Breakout Artist of 2012, Single of the Year and Album of the Year, but I was also dreading the rest of the night because I had to spend it glued to Taylor's side flaunting our "relationship" to the world.

"Louis I can't do this." I whispered into his ear, desperately.

"It's too late now, everyone already thinks your together. It would be a disaster if anyone found out it was just a scam. The tabloids would eat the story up."

I sighed and tugged my hands through my curls. "The more time I spend with her, the more she drives me crazy."

"She can't be that bad."

"Well, it's not that she's rude or anything it's kind of the opposite she's too nice and it's so obviously fake. "

"Well just try to stick close with the rest of us boys."

I groaned and stomped off back to Taylor as we made our way inside.

Most of the night was bearable until we went to our dressing rooms to get ready for our performance.

Caroline, our stylist, was talking to Kimberly her intern when we ran in. My heart stopped when I saw Kim dressed in her tight black cocktail dress, it clung to her body so well I couldn't help but stare. I snapped out of my trance as she started walking towards me in her tall studded stilettos, even in those stilts of shoes she still managed to walk with such poise and elegance.

"OH MY GOD HARRY!! I'm so excited, you guys are definitely winning the awards. I'm really proud of you boys." She exclaimed, unlike Taylor, Kim's kind heart actually seemed genuine. She wrapped her arms around me in a friendly embrace, taking me off guard but I gripped onto her all the same.

"Thank you. I'll do my best tonight ." I mumbled into her hair, fighting the urge to run my fingers thought it, caressing her face in my hands while I....STOP IT HARRY, you can't go there.

"I'm sure you will. " She said pulling out of my arms, I instantly missed her close presence even though she was still here with me. "Hurry up and get dressed. I'll be in the crowd cheering you guys on." My eyes trailed along her as she left the room. I shouldn't feel these things towards her, but I did, and I'd long overcome the fact that I couldn't help it.  

Our performance turned out really great and we ended up winning 2/3 of the awards which I was go grateful for. Our fans really meant the world to us. Walking off the stage we were greeted by a crew of people and immediately Taylor leaped onto me, squeezing me tight. I absently returned her hug. Looking over he shoulder I saw Kim seated a few people away from us and I wished so badly that it was her in my arms. I hoped she came over to congratulate us, but I knew that wouldn't happen if Taylor was here. She was like a barricade to my happiness, I regretted more then anything agreeing to this arrangement . We caught eyes and she waved at me, sending me encouraging smiles which somehow made it all better.

 Heey everybody :) we don't usually do Author's notes or whatever but we would just like to thank EVERYONE who has read, commented and voted on our story so far! We will upload frequently (we hope) *crosses fingers* but since we have finals and midterms atm we might take a little break. The next update will be on Harry's birthday, if not sooner...depends.
