JJ's POV
We all stood still around the round table. We knew Cat Adams had Spencer and we knew she would try to control him. We figured she had a whole fantasy planned with him, she was obsessed with him.  What we didn't predict was how she controlled him. Spencer looked like he willingly followed her. He would never follow Cat in his right mind she is crazy. But there was this look in his eyes that matched hers, like there was a whole other side of him I've never seen before, none of us have.
"What do you want Cat? we know this is all one big game to you. What are the rules?" Rossi asked.
"I'm so glad you asked!" She smirked holding up a remote.
I squinted my eyes trying to figure out what it went to, and then I realized. There's a bomb in the BAU.
"A bomb. That's what you're gonna use to "control us" " I said.
If we did one thing that didn't go to her plan she would threaten us with the detonator. This didn't make sense though. Cat Adams would never kill herself. There has to be a backup plan or way out for her and Spencer. Collette.
Hotch's POV
"A bomb. That's what you're gonna use to "control us" " JJ said.
Of course there's a bomb. But where? If we got close enough there's a chance we could disable it without her noticing one of us were gone. It would be a long shot, but Morgan is really good at disabling explosives.
"Where is it?" I asked.
I tried my hardest to sound intimidating like usual especially in  deadly situations. If she hears an ounce of fear in my voice she'll use it to her advantage.
She laughed at my question, with a large grin across her face.
"The place you spent more time, than with your own family."
I stopped for a moment to think. It was no surprise Haley left me because of how much time I spent on my job. But that was the whole BAU- wait.
"My office." Chills ran up my spine.
There was a bomb in my office for who knows how long, and I didn't even know. I could've set it off accidentally at any moment. The team looked at me in shock with the same expression as me.
"Ding ding ding!" She said.
"Spence, would you like to do the honors?" She pulled out a switchblade from her bra and handed it to him. We aren't armed at the moment so we have no protection other than our hands.
"Reid, wait a minute. You don't wanna do this." Morgan said.
I knew nothing anyone said would stop him. He was under Cat's control, but how? Would he really murder us? He ignored Morgan completely as if he didn't even hear him. He walked up to me first and pulled out at least twenty zip ties from his front pocket. He held the knife up to my neck to keep me from resisting, and from anyone else fighting back. He grabbed my wrist and tied it extremely tight with one of the ties, but not tight enough to cut off my circulation. I looked him straight in the eye when he finished and he pushed me down into one of the chairs. He tied up my feet the same way as my wrists and moved on to Morgan, and did the same. There was no hesitation, no regret in his eyes, no worry. This wasn't Spencer Reid anymore. I didn't recognize the man standing in this conference room. He walked back over and stood next to Cat. We all sat in our chairs tied up around the conference table. Even though he's acting like nothing is fazing him, he looks on edge. This is all just an act to please Cat. She isn't controlling him, she's influencing him to do what she says with whatever drug she has. There's a difference. He's tapping his fingers against his thumb. It's like Spencer's trying to communicate with us, but I can't figure out what he's trying to say on my own. I nodded to Morgan motioning to his hands and he nodded back in understanding. I did the same to the rest of the team and they all understood. His fidgeting was a sign that Spencer was still in there holding back. He still had a conscious, and it was urging him to do the opposite of Cat. We just have to figure out a way to help him break through her control with our words. With our profile.
Collette's POV
I followed Cat's plan and parked the car around the back of the HQ. I don't enjoy following her around like a lost puppy, but at this point I'll do anything to get my hands on Spencer. Why does Cat even waste her time with him? He's a coward and doesn't deserve her. He killed my sister and he's going to feel the emptiness, the numbness that I felt when I lost her. I just need to find out who he loves the most.
Garcia's POV
This job has its ups and downs. I'm not like the rest of the team. I stay in my little lair, and dig through the evil pasts of the killers they hunt down from behind my screens. But today I'm up close. Except the evil is standing next to one of my best friends. I know Spencer and he isn't like Cat. I know there's a piece of him still holding on to his innocence. The Spencer who is a Doctor Who nerd, and could probably read every book ever written is still in there, and I will never give up on him. I turn to Derek who is tied up next to me. I'm no profiler, but by the look on his face I can tell he is definitely ready to kill Cat Adams.
Dereks POV
"Alright, now lets have some fun!" Cat said.
If I weren't tied up right now I would snap this girl in half.
"We aren't playing any games Cat." I said. My voice angry.
"Oh but you will, or else everyone one is this building will go, boom!" She said making explosive motions with here hands. I rolled my eyes back knowing there was no arguing with her.
"Spencie, explain the rules please." She said, still smiling.
"We are going to play Truth or Dare." He said mimicking Cat's devilish smile. It was like they were the same person except Spencer was holding back a little. He kept tapping his fingers. He tried to hide it behind his back but I could vaguely see his hand moving. Hotch nodded at me motioning to them, he must have noticed too. Spencer must be trying to break through Cat's control. He's a genius he has to be trying to say something. Every time Spencer is held hostage or undercover he has some way to communicate with us through some code only we would understand. I just have to figure out what the tapping means. He continued to explain the rules.
"Rule number one, no lying. If you choose to be secretive, then one of us will have to get... messy."
I look over at Garcia and she looks at me with fear in her eyes. I hate this, being helpless. I give her a reassuring nod, as if that will make her feel any better. We have to spill our biggest secrets or else we get tortured. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but our team knows everything about everyone and nothing is private in our lives except for a few things. Things that we would like to keep to ourselves for peace of mind. For privacy. The things that keep us sane after long cases. Now that's going to be taken away from us.
"Rule number two," Spencer walks over to Hotch and leans over him, them being face to face.
"No profiling."
Great. Profiling is how we are supposed to break through to Spencer. Cat must've known that.
"Lastly, rule number three," he walks away from Hotch back to Cat and leans his back against the wall with his arms crossed.
"You, don't ask the questions."
Cat smiled.
"Let's play!"
