chapter 3

A.j's pov

              Me and Ginger were covered in walker guts walking through a hord. After we got away from them we kept going. All of a sudden I was thrown to the ground with someone on top of me. "Get the fuck off!!" I yelled. "Sorry no can do." A girl said. I got up with her still on my back and body slammed her into the ground. She groaned in pain it was obvious I broke a few ribs. I stood up and brushed myself off only to be tackled again but this time it was a guy. He was older and only had one eye. He had a beard and a hat. "You think you can treat women like that!?!?" He yelled. "She attacked me first!!" I yelled back in defense. He looked at me for a second then he looked at my hat. "Where did you get that hat?" He asked. "I fuckin killed someone for it." I said sarcastically. "WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GET IT!!!!" He yelled slamming my head to the ground. "My mom gave it to me before she died." I said starting to cry. "What was her name?" He asked more calm. "Clementine why the fuck does it matter to you!?" I said rudely. "A.j?" He asked. "How the fuck do you know my name old man?" I asked. He stood up and helped me up. "Why the fuck didn't you help me!?" I asked looking at Ginger. "Because Clementine told me not to hurt him." "Aaahhh that thing just talked!!" He yelled. "Mom why did you tell her not to attack?" I asked looking around. She appeared and said "because he's family A.j and I'm not gonna sick your mountain lion on him." "Why not he tried to kill me and he blamed me for hurting her when she's the one who tried to rob me." "A.j this is Kenny." She said resting her arm on Kennys shoulder. "Clementine you....you've grown up." He said taking in her appearance. "Do you want me to look like this?" She asked and turned into a 12 year old. "I have to go A.j group with Kenny and Ginger take care of Kenny too from now

on." She said then vanished. Kenny looked at me then at Ginger. "Ok A.j this is my niece Whisper she's kinda a thief and we're trying to work on that aren't we Whisper?" He said glaring at her. I went over to her and tried to help her up. She howled in pain and fell back to the ground. "Oh fuuuuuck." I said irritated. "Can you walk?" I asked. "No I don't think so" she said. "Do you want me to Kerry you?" I asked. "I don't think you can." She said. "Mk just come here" I said. I put my hand on her shoulder and squeezed and she passed out. "What did you do to her!?" Kenny asked. "Calm your self she's just sleeping. Now we can Kerry her." I said and picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. "So where we headed?" I asked. "Home" he said starting to walk.

                 We walked for at least two hours. Then all of a sudden 5 walkers came out of nowhere. I looked at Ginger and she noded

her head. Kenny got his gun out. "Kenny we're safer with the cat fighting them." He looked at me like I was crazy. Ginger started braking her bones and getting bigger. By the time she was done she was a mountain lion. She crouched down low and waited for them to come to her. "A.j they're gonna get her." He said. "Sshhh." We watched as Ginger pounced on all the walkers. She bit all they're head's off and stomped all over them with her big mountain lion feet. She came over to me after she was done and rubbed herself all over me. "Hay Ginger will you Kerry her to the place and we'll meat you there." I said before she could turn back into a cat. "She doesn't know where we're going." Kenny said. "Do you have something from the place for her to smell?" I asked. "Ya here" he said and handed her a pair of gloves. She smelled them for a minute then she gently grabbed Whisper out of my hands and was just about to take off. "Wait can't you like kerry her on your back or something and not in the gaws that can bite threw bones?" Kenny asked. "Look old man I can't kerry her on my back because she could fall off, a walker could snatch her, a bandet who hasn't had any tail since this thing has started could get her. The list goes on and on but it's safer to Kerry her in my mouth then where else right now." She said. She took another inhale of the gloves and picked Whisper up and took off.

Ginger's pov

                     I ran as fast as I could and just saying it was kinda hard with a teenager dangling from my gaws. The sent was getting stronger so I ran even faster. I felt Whisper starting to wake up. I sped up and saw a cabin in the distance. "Wh...what's going on?" She asked groggy. She put her hand on my snout and started screaming. I dropped her on the ground with a thud and said "hay if you don't shut up walkers are going come and chew our faces off so shut up and let me Kerry you the rest of the way!" She stayed quiet and turned her back to me so I could grab the back of her hoodie. I picked her up and started running again.

            We came up to the house and she opened the door. I walked in with still in my gaws. "Which room is yours?" I asked stopping in the middle of the living room. "It's up stairs on the left" she said. I took her up there and laid her on the bed and grabbed a blanket for her. I was just about to go back to my cat form when I heard her shivering. I got up on the bed with her and laid across her to warm her up. "What are you doing?" She asked. "Your cold and I'm warming you up." I said snuggling closer to her. She sighed and fell asleep and so did I.
