chapter 4

A.j's pov

              As me and Kenny were walking I started seeing the cabin. "Is that it Kenny!?" I asked excited. He nodded his head and I started running towards it. I ran threw the door and then I stopped and slowly walked around remembering Whisper was there probably sleeping. Kenny walked threw the door. "Hay Kenny I'm really sorry about hurting Whisper it's just I didn't have enough food I only had-" "it's ok A.j I'm glad it was you who knocked some sense into her and not some asshole with a gun." He said. All of a sudden I felt something big and fluffy jump on my back and knock me over. "Your back yay!!" Ginger yelled rubbing her furry cent all over me. "Yes I'm back now get off you fur ball." I said pushing her off playfully. She got off looked around and when she knew it was safe she turned back into a cat. "I'm really gonna have to get used to that aren't I?" Kenny said looking at Ginger a little grossed out. "Yes" Ginger said with a straight face. "Where's Whisper?" Kenny asked looking around. "She's upstairs sleeping." Ginger said walking up the stairs. "Ok let's just let her sleep" Kenny said. "I'm tired which room can I sleep in?" I asked. He showed me to a room that was right next to Whispers room. I walked over to the bed put my stuff down and laid on the bed. Not long after laid down Ginger came in and fell asleep curled up next to my chest. I fell asleep within minutes.

                Me and Ginger were walking and we saw a house. Mom was there Lee was there Christa was there and everyone else that mom had told me about was there including my real mom. I smiled and ran towards them. I jumped into mom's arms and said "I miss your hugs mom" I said starting to cry. "I know honey I know" she said. She didn't say anything after that neither did anyone else. She started holding me tighter and I couldn't breath. I looked up at her and she was a walker and so was everyone else. I tried to push her off but she was a lot stronger then me. She sank her teeth into my neck and everyone else started chowing down on me. I screamed in pain.

                 I woke up to claw marks on my face. I looked at Ginger and said "what...the...fuck!?" She looked at me as if I was gonna hit her. "You were screaming" she said in a scared voice. "So you decided to scratch my face!?" I yelled at her. "I'm sorry" she said about to cry. I looked at her and my eyes softened and I said "it's ok just next time lick my face or something don't scratch me." I said and went back to sleep.

              "A.j we have to go now the walkers are gonna get in soon!" Kenny said shaking me awake. I jumped up and got my clothes knives and my gun and put all but one of my knives in my bag. I grabbed Ginger and put her in my backpack. She didn't object thank God. We all went down stairs Kenny was about to make a break for it. "Kenny stop what your doing your about to get yourself killed" I said. "What's your plan then?" He asked crossing his arms. "This" I said and opened the door. I whistled and two came over. I lured them in the house and shut the door really fast. I turned around and stabbed both of them in the back of their necks. I flipped them over and cut their bellys open. "Rub it all over you walk slowly and don't...say...a word" I said looking at Whisper. I reached into one of the walkers and started rubbing the blood and guts all over myself. "Umm I'm not doing that" Whisper said. "Hay it's your funeral" I said rubbing some on Ginger. "Whisper just suck it up and do it" Kenny said putting stuff on himself. She rolled her eyes and started covering herself in muck.

             We walked out of the house and started walking. Whisper was super nerves. "Don't look around don't move to fast and don't say a word" I whispered into her ear. It was going good until Kenny cut his finger on a knife. All the walkers stopped and looked at him. They just stayed there for a minute. Then they started coming towards us. We all ran as fast as we could but one of them grabbed Kenny and tripped him. He looked at me and said "take care of her A.j!!" And then just like that....he was gone. Whisper insisted we go back but he was already gone. She kept trying to get to him so I did the shoulder thing and she passed out. I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder.

               After we got away from the herd I let Ginger out of my backpack. "So where are we going now?" Ginger asked. "I don't know" I said honestly. We walked a little further then a girl with red hair in her 40s, and a black guy with a scar on his face, and a guy that looked like Harry Potter came out of nowhere. They started waving guns around and yelling at each other in Russian. "What the fuck is happening!?" I yelled. They stopped yelling and looked at me. "We got Harry fuckin Potter over here, we got the girl from Brave, and we got this guy!!....the fuck is going on! Shit!" I yelled irritated. "You watch your mouth son!" The lady with red hair said. "I am NOT your son" I said. "Bonnie what are we gonna do with them?" The black guy asked. "We could sat the cat and kill them" Harry Potter laughed in a Russian acent. "Fuck

o...wait did you just say her name was Bonnie?" I asked. "Ya that's her name." He said. "Oh...my...God...Your the fuckers who shot my mother in the shoulder and stole all our food when I was a baby....aren't you...Bonnie....Mike...fuckin ARVO!!!!" I yelled glaring at Arvo. They all looked at me with shock even Arvo. "A....A.j!?" Bonnie said walking closer to me. "Don't fuckin touch me!!" I growled grabbing out my gun. "Ugh Ginger will you take her she's getting kinda heavy?" I asked looking at her she nodded and turned to her mountain lion form. They all looked at her in terror. Arvo shot her in the chest. "Did you just shoot me rookie?" She asked threateningly walking towards him. He fired two more rounds at her and it did absolutely nothing....except make her more mad. She grabbed the gun out of his hands and threw it. She kept waking towards him until his back hit a tree. "Make her stop please." Arvo begged. "Is that how my mom begged when you were robbing her and her group and when you shot her in the shoulder and left her for dead!!?!" I asked. Ginger had him pinned up against the tree. Her teeth were only inches away from his face. She was snarling and growling fiercely. "It doesn't feel good to look death in the eyes now does it ARVO!!??" I yelled again. "No, no it doesn't!! Please don't let this demon from hell kill me!!" He begged starting to cry. "Just give me the word and I'll rip into his throat!!!" Ginger roared getting even closer. All of a sudden Bonnie grabbed me and put a gun to my head. "Put him down or I shoot!!" She yelled. Ginger turned away from Arvo forgetting all about him and walked over to Bonnie. "No you put him down or I will rip your head off!...That is my boy and I was sent here to keep him safe!!!" She growled. "Then I guess the only way to protect him is to roll over and show your belly like a good kitty cat." She said. Ginger just sat there laughing I knew what was gonna come next. Ginger started to lay down. When Bonnie loosened her grip on me I ducked and Ginger pounced on her pray ripping Bonnies head off and shaking it from side to side. "Enou-" before I could finish I felt something go through my back. I turned around and Arvo was standing there with a gun in his hand. I looked at him and fell to the ground. "Your going to hell." I said. Ginger turned around and looked at me she saw the blood and said "A.j I was sent here to protect you and keep your safe. I failed you." She said starting to cry. "Which one?" She asked sternly. I looked at Arvo. She scoffed "of course it would have been him." She said and lonched herself at him. The last thing I heard were Arvos screams.

               I woke up standing over my body then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw....
