Chapter 2 - Her Glowing Aura

The coach blew the whistle "alright everyone, good job on today's training! You can all go home tell me if you need any extra practice the gym's open until 11 pm since it's Friday"
"ok coach!"
before Kageyama could even pull on his jacket brown eyes and orange hair came to his vision "yo! Tobio, how was practice?" the girl gave him his shoes while zipping up her jacket
"the usual, anyway, why are you still here? It's almost 9." Kageyama frowned
"ehh, I know it's almost 9 bakayama I was waiting for you since it gets lonely when I walk alone, anyways..." Kageyama didn't really listen to what else Hinata had to say, he felt his heartbeat louder than he expected, replaying the phrase "I was waiting for you since it gets lonely when I walk alone" blush started creeping up from his neck loosening his collar he chuckled and ruffled Hinata's soft hair "ya, ya, anyways I should probably take you home your nii-chan will think that I kidnapped you again"
Hinata made a soft giggle and bumped his shoulder playfully
"pfft, not like you wouldn't want to though" she winked
"tch, shut up" Kageyama yapped back.
Not like I wouldn't want to huh?

Girls surrounded Hinata in the middle of the track field
"Hinata-san, can you please show us your pole vaulting" one pleaded
"We really want to see it! We've been feeling really unmotivated lately but if we see you pole vault we'll definitely be able to get back on our feet!"
all of the girls swiftly nodded their heads like obedient puppies. Kageyama groaned, he knew all of those girls were lying they just wanted to see Hinata show off and watch in awe as she lifted herself into the air. Kageyama shook his head, how many times have I told you Hinata? Not to go near the pole vaulting team— HOW MANY TIMES??? Look what you got yourself into you idiot. Kageyama was about to step in until Hinata's shocked eyes softened, Hinata took a deep breath and spoke
"hmm, I didn't realise people were still interested in my pole vaulting after I took a break" all the girls leaned in, waiting for the tangerines reply.
"Of course I'll show you my pole vaulting, after all, I wouldn't want any of my apprentices feeling down not being able to puff out their feathers as I taught them to" she chirped, all the girls gave a small 'hooray'.
Clapping dusty hands together, Hinata lifted the large pole the coach of the team croaked "1... 2... 3... GO!!" Hinata ran fast, extremely fast, wind attacking her hair, eyes determined as ever looking straight ahead. Hinata swiftly puts the pole into the launch box, pole bending forward dramatically; like it was about to snap in half, kicking her legs up into the air bending slightly in half making sure that her arms don't give in she does one final push of her strength to able to twist to the other side over the bar to face the pole vaulting team. It was like a bird learning how to finally fly, flapping its wings freely and gliding along the sky losing a couple of feathers along the way.
Hinata was like a bird getting ready to take off, she was like the feather which she had lost along the way slowly drifting to the ground. Hinata gave a breathy giggle "did you guys catch that? I won't be doing it again since you guys said I only had to do it once" she did one of those cheeky grins which show off her pearly white teeth, all of the girls pouted but didn't really mind as long as they could see Hinata fly, they gave her a bottle of water and talked about something that Kageyama couldn't hear. Kageyama felt a rush of adrenaline instead of just standing there he turned around and walked over to the gym, he was determined to make as many people fly.

"oi Tobio!" she called from the other side of the aisle Kageyama jerked and flushed from Hinata's sudden change from "Kageyama-kun" to just "Tobio" Kageyama usually doesn't use Hinata's first name if they were around other students since he hates people gossiping about their relationship he coughed and turned around to glare at the walking newspapers, he sighed and walked over to Hinata did they really think that he couldn't hear them? Whatever.
"what's up sho?" (ah so Tobio-kun doesn't like others hearing him say her first name since he doesn't want other people to make "Sho" into a nickname like "Sho-chan or Sho-san" you think you're slick Kageyama) Hinata looked down and gave a small smile "err, could you hold the ladder for me? I'm kinda unstable heh"
"uh, ya sure—" Hinata's eyes went wide, both of them gasped before Kageyama could even process what was happening Hinata was laying on top of him clutching his chest her breathing was unstable trembling in his arms, Kageyama couldn't let his feelings overtake his self-control so he took his right arm and started petting Hinata. In the process of this crowds of students started rushing in to see what happened, some gasped taking out their phones whispering with each other but Kageyama didn't give two shits at that moment, he just needed to make sure Hinata was ok.

"Hey uh, you feeling better Sho?" Kageyama leaned forward, his lips centimetres apart from the girl in front of him Hinata looked up from the book she was reading and brushed back the falling strand of hair "yep" popping the P.
At that moment they locked eyes with each other not even taking in consideration of looking away, Kageyama so desperately wanted to run his rough hands into Hinata's hair and pull her into a lip lock—
"...bio, hello? You back to earth yet?" Hinata fell back onto her chair crossing her arms with a concerned look on her face
"uh ya... fine" he mumbled shit I totally just blacked out there, fuck, fuck, FUCK, you really just let your dick control you huh? Stupid fucking horny—
"...obio! Are you sure you're ok? You're kinda red and it looks like you're burning up" Hinata frowned as she got up from her chair walking over to the space Kageyama was occupying, squatting down to Kageyama's height and putting her soft hands on his forehead. That was the queue when Kageyama felt like fainting, fainting into Hinata's smaller arms but Kageyama wasn't going to let that happen, so he just sat there getting even redder at the intimate gesture.

"You done touching me yet?" Kageyama was the first one to pull away from the awkward 2-minute silence a small amount of blush freckled Hinata's cheeks "mhm, ya...". Maybe Kageyama shouldn't have said that since it made it 10x awkwarder than last time it was Hinata's turn to end the everlasting silence "uhh, I think I should get going, I'll see you tomorrow Kageyam—" before Hinata could finish her sentence Kageyama pulled her into a tight hug Hinata was redder than anything Kageyama's seen. Before Hinata could utter a single word Kageyama whispered "shh, not feeling too well let's just stay like this for a few minutes..." Hinata softened her posture sliding her hands up to Kageyama's back to hug him tighter. Kageyama tried so hard not to pull her into his lap. so hard.
