Ch. 4

Luna sat on a couch in Sonia's 'lab'. She was nervous then realization hit her. She hadn't called her parents nor Hau to let them know that she had made it safely.
"What's the matter?" Sonia asked.
"Um...I don't have a phone to call my parents nor best friend to let them know that I made it safely..." Luna explained.
"Why didn't you say so sooner?" Sonia then dogged for a phone and a Rotom, "Just give me a minute..." She then began to fixing up the phone to be a Rotom Phone with a PokéDex on it.
Luna then looked confused. "Uhhh..." was all she said.
"It's a Rotom Phone. You're from Alola, right? If so, then you should be familiar with the Rotom Dex. Am I right?" Sonia asked.
"Yeah, you're right," Luna replied.
"Well the Rotom Phone is similar to that," Sonia explained then continued, "It's yours to use. No need to thank me. So, what Pokémon do you have?"
"Oh, uh, a Rockruff, a Jangmo-o, and an Eevee," Luna replied with a stutter.
"Did you get an explanation of the Gym Challenge here in Galar from the Chairman?" Sonia asked.
"Yeah, I did," Luna replied.
"Have you decided if you want to do it yet?" Sonia asked.
"Oh, uh, no, I haven't. Not yet anyways," Luna replied.
"Well, if you ever want to take part then let Chairman Rose about wanting to participate in it. That or, if you're lucky enough, then you can talk to the Champion about it as well," Sonia said then continued, "The reason being is because you need a Letter of Recommendation in order to do so."
Luna only said "Oh" as Sonia explained more about the Gym Challenge.
"I guess she is lucky enough, right, Sonia?" An unfamiliar voice started, "I can definitely give her a Letter of Recommendation, but only if she can beat Hop in battle.'
Luna turned around and saw a man at the door with three people who were younger than her but the man was about her age. Luna stood there awkwardly as there was silence. During that silence, Luna was thinking of meeting new people and new Pokémon.
"Well? Luna? Do you want to participate? If so, then battle Hop," Sonia told asked.
"Um, ok. I don't see any harm in a battle," Luna stuttered.
"How many Pokémon do you have miss..." the man trailed.
"Luna. My name is Luna," Luna replied.
"Ok. How many Pokémon do you have miss Luna?" He asked.
"Three. And, please, just call me Luna," Luna replied then realized that she doesn't know his name.
As if he could read her mind, the man told her his name, "How rude of me. My name is Leon. I'm the Champion of this region. And this is my little brother, Hop. And those two are Gloria and Victor."
"Nice to meet y'all," Luna bowed in respect.
Then Luna's eyes went wide then she said real fast, "I NEED TO CALL MY PARENTS AND BEST FRIEND!"
She then started to call her parents then Hau.
