Ch. 10

After the kiss, both just stood there, quietly while looking into each other's eyes. Well, that is until Leon spoke up.
"I, um, I am sorry about kiss-" Leon got cut off once he felt Luna hugging him, which made him blush even more.
"It's alright. I, uh, was actually thinking of doing that but didn't know when to do it because I was scared that you didn't like me back," Luna stuttered while blushing even more as well.
"I honestly don't know how I feel towards you yet but I hope you wait. That is if you still love after all the wait..." Leon trailed off as he was about to kiss you again until Hop called out to them while he didn't notice what was about to happen, which made Leon and Luna sigh in relief.
Both blushed deeply then headed towards Hop slowly and awkwardly. Once they reached Hop, he asked what they were doing. Both attempted to play it cool and said that they were talking without any interruptions. Hop thankfully believed it and said a simple 'alright.' Then Leon left with his Charizard a few minutes later.
"Do you like Lee?" Hop suddenly asked, making Luna choke on air.
"I mean, yeah. He's a good friend," Luna said while smiling.
"I mean, do you LOVE him?" Hop emphasized when saying the word 'love.'
Luna's eyes went wide while blushing then said, "Where'd you get that assumption from?"
"He treats you differently than any other girl. You treat him like he is just a normal person. The look y'all gave each other before he left showed something that wasn't there when you were walking with him the night we were searching for him. What actually happened when y'all were alone before I showed tonight?" Hop explained then asked.
Luna just thought about it with a blush on her face, "It's best to wait for Leon to be ready to tell people about what happened so until then just wait alright?"
"Alright. By the way...I believe you will take care of Lee. You are kind to me, to mom, to Sonia, to his Charizard, and to him. I think you are amazing like Lee and that's saying a lot cause I don't think anyone is as amazing like Lee," Hop said.
"If I'm being honest, at first, I didn't want to come here but, seeing how everyone in Alola expects a lot out of me, I did want to leave..." Luna trailed off.
"Why?" Hop asked.
Luna then looked up at the sky then started again, "I am in the shadows of two professors. My dad and mom are professors if you remember correctly. Not only that but, my dad is also a Battle Royal star AND a champion. My mom studies dimensional rifts which are known as Ultra Wormholes. My dad studies Pokémon moves. My best friend, Hau, is in a shadow of his gramps, who is a Kahuna on Melemele Island. And it seems like you're in the shadow of your brother, Leon, because he is the champion. But me and Hau don't let what they say get to us so, if someone says that you are in his shadow, just know that it doesn't matter cause you are you. That's how me and Hau think so you should think that as well."
Luna then smiles.
Hop just stares at her then hugs her, making her surprised.
"People do sometimes say that but I try my best to ignore. It's just hard sometimes. Please, Luna...stay with us...at least for awhile..." Hop said in between sniffles.
Luna hugged him back, "I will stay for awhile. For you, Leon, and y'all's mom. As well as Sonia. Will that make you feel better?"
Hop just nodded.
They then went on their way to Motosoke while talking about anything that popped up in their minds so that they can keep their minds off of stuff.
