Lori was nervous. She waited for Jack to accept himself as a werewolf before she could show her werewolf form. She waited for a time she knew that her four werewolf friends would be gathered in the werewolf house before going there.
Lori entered the house and found them all either reading or just staring at their phones while sitting on the couches. Hamish noticed her standing at the doorway once she got there and frowned. He could see the anxiety, fear and worry in her body language. "Hi, Lori," he said.
Randall jumped and turned immediately around, being the closest one to the doorway. "Again, how can I not smell you?!" He asked.
Lori giggled a little. "Scentless Spell," she replied. "Well, I know your guys' secret identities," she said. "So far you've trusted me not to compromise you, so I want to share you my secret."
"We already know you're in The Order," Randall stated, waving the matter off.
"That's not the secret I'm talking about," Lori stated. Then she sighed. "Maybe this will give you a hint." She undid her Scentless Spell, and everyone looked at her in confusion, smelling a strange smell coming from her. "Come on, I want to show you something." Lori turned and entered a farther forest behind the house as she was followed by Hamish, Randall, Lilith and Jack.
Randall rushed up to her side. "Hey, what's this about?" he asked.
"You'll all find out soon," Lori said.
They arrived at a spot Lori felt was safe, and Lori stopped in the middle of a field. Lori turned to the others and she smiled softly at Jack.
"I hope this doesn't affect our friendship," Lori said.
Randall snorted. "If anything, you might become bada**," he said, smiling.
Lori got onto the grass, and everyone was confused until Lori's eyes glew neon-blue and fur started to grow on her skin. Her body also began to change shape and her bones began to break and reattach to give her body a more wolfy structure. Randall's smile fell and everyone watched Lori get up as a full wolf on all fours.
"What?" Jack said. "I thought we were werewolves!"
"I thought so too," Hamish stated.
Lori sat on the grass, waiting for them to react. Slowly, Jack approached her and put out a hand. Lori tilted her head, then Jack put his hand on her forehead and Lori closed her eyes in content. She was glad about the acceptance, but then he started scratching her head. Lori shook his hand off and grumbled at him.
Jack backed up, putting his hands up. "Alright," he said, raising his eyebrows.
Lori huffed and looked away. They could see the crease between the wolf's eyes. "I don't think she liked that," Lilith said.
Lori began to slowly shift back, and they noticed that she managed to keep her clothes on when she shifted. "Don't pet me, Jack," she huffed. "I'm a werewolf, not a dog." Then she stormed away.
