"Rest," Allecra whispered as she pulled the sheets onto my body. "You should really feed, princess. You're weaker than before."

I knew she was right but I was conflicted between what to do. Feeding off anyone else besides my mate felt wrong and a violation of our relationship. "I'll be alright," I whispered as I made myself comfortable in the bed. 

"You need to be strong to fight your sister later, Princess," she insisted. Again, she was right. My sister was going to be stronger than me, especially if she was able to feed off of Dallis. If I did choose to feed off a human, I could only hope that Dallis would understand the severity of the situation. I was not sure if it was a risk I was willing to take. 

That was when I remembered the prisoner's list from before. "Fine." Her eyes brightened, probably from the hope that I would choose her. "Go down to the dungeon. Bring me Edward." She seemed hesitant at first but bowed and went to fetch the human. The maidens stayed by my side, watching over me and cleaning up the room as well. 

When Edward finally arrived, I sent the maidens away so we were alone. He look frightened and confused. He was also naked and filthy. I motioned towards the bathroom and without hesitation, he entered it.

Frightened by her presence, I ran into the bathroom like she requested. We didn't have to speak for me to understand what she wanted. The tub was full of hot water and bottles full of liquids for cleaning. I rested my body inside and began to clean, my hands shaking the whole time. 

Before, I was trapped in the dungeon and my daughter was ripped away from me. Again, I did not know where she was. It was lonely and dark in my captivity and I dreaded going back. I was relieved when Vera called for my presence. She was the only demon I was more comfortable around. 

Allecra was the one that escorted me to the princess' chambers and she did so with hatred. or maybe jealousy? 

Now that I was here in Vera's presence, I was nervous and afraid I could not live up to her expectations. I was afraid I could not please her how she deserved to be pleased. And I couldn't stop the idea that I was the one she had chosen to feed her, no one else. I was special and that gave me confidence. 

I continued to scrub at my skin, making sure to rid of all the dirt. I washed my hair as well before exiting the tub. The water that was once a light blue was now almost black from my dirt. I used the towel to dry my body and wrapped it around my waist to avoid being naked. It was still hard to get used to. 

I exited the bathroom, hoping that by aiding the princess in this way, she would help me with finding my daughter. When I entered the main room, I noticed the Princess was sitting up in her bed, her head in her hands. She look tired and sickly. Her head lifted once she saw me. "Come," was all she said. 

I walked slowly, slightly scared of her and what she could do. I highly doubted that I could please her or even handle her. She grabbed my rough hand when I was close enough and pulled me close. It seemed she was having a hard time bringing herself to do anything to me. I wondered if it had anything to do with Dallis. 

I was frightened but I had to get my daughter back and I had to escape this place. I lowered myself to my knees so my face was leveled with hers. Her eyes were squeezed shut but hesitantly, I pushed my lips to hers, waiting for a response. We sat there for a moment, as we slowly became comfortable with each other. 

With her hand on the back of my neck, she crushed our mouths together and dominated the kiss. Her tongue snaked into my mouth, dancing with mine and tasting every bit of my mouth. I moaned into the kiss, loving the feel of her long tongue. I grew hard just from that.
