Fear in the moonlight

Almost left alone in the dark

colder than his bitter heart

she has his undeniable mark

it has come to this that they must part

she tells him she must go

a maze is where she leaves

he won't let her know

the paths are made by trees

twists and turns running away

she tries to get away from him

he just begs her to stay

the moon light eerie and dim

struggling to keep up with her through the night

so many dead end and turns in the maze

trying to run from him with all her might

the constant fight for what feels like days

dead leaves falling

no sound you could hear a falling pin

her skin crawling

as the maze swallows her in

her heart beating faster

her breaths taken sharply

in fear he might catch her

her plump red lips open partly

long black curls travel behind

pale white skin to match grey eyes

awful thoughts dance in her mind

sick of all his puncturing lies

she trips and falls
