I woke up with a presence behind me and an arm underneath me. Jaden. I turned round to snuggle into him when I remembered last night. 'Heat of the moment'. Maybe he was right and it was in the heat of the moment. We should just stay friends. I stayed in the position I was in until I felt jadens neck snuggle into the back of mine. "Good morning" I said as his other arm wrapped around me. "Morning" he said into the crook of my neck with his sexy ass morning voice. I laid still on my side as he hugged me tight. "Come onnnnn, cuddlessss" he said turning me over to face him. He looked me in the eyes and pouted. "What's wrong?" He asked removing his hands. "Nothing, just not a morning person" i said giving him a reassuring smile. He looked at me weirdly but then nodded as he hurried his head in my chest and wrapped his arms around me. I played with his hair as he hummed a song.

"Are you sure your okay?" He said as I turned my phone off. "Course, Bryce just texted me, I think they want you back" I said trying to get him out. I knew I was causing tension and I didn't want it to be awkward. "You gonna be okay by yourself?" He asked as he got up and grabbed his phone, "nothing I'm not used to" i said, making him look at me, "I'm serious" "and so am I" "okay, well just text me if you need me. I'll see you later" "goodbye jaden" he shut the door and I laid down on my bed sighing.

I looked on tiktok to see jaden posted a draft of us from last night.

I just scrolled, only to put my phone down and to call my friend/ex, Elmo. Yeah, you heard me, I said ex. We broke up when he moved back down to the uk but when he came to visit his new girlfriend, Hannah, he came to visit and clear the air and we talk to each other about everything.

"Nope, he just came to check on me and we watched tv. I didn't want to be alone so I asked him to stay and he did."
"So nothing happened?"
"Nope, nada"
"you sure?" I hummed in response as I cleaned up, trying to get myself out of the conversation.
"Your being awkward, which means something did happen. Did he kiss you? Or did you kiss him?" Damn. I swear she can read minds.
"Well, he kissed me and then said it was in the heat of the moment so I just left it"

"I don't like him, I just felt safer with company."

Surely not, I've only known him for a few days, plus, the kiss me at nothing to him and he probably only sees me for my body. Oh well, I'll just shower and eat.
