Bryces PoV:
I picked up my phone and looked at the called ID and answered it confused.
"Hey Bryce, can we talk?"
"Everything okay?"
"Not exactly. Jae came home today"
"That's great right?!"
"Not exactly" I stood up and told everyone I'll be back before continuing to talk.
"What do you mean?"
"He's not my jaden anymore. This is the first time I've heard from him since what happened to Liv"
"Liv? What happened to Liv?" (Liv is jaes imaginary sister. Haley doesn't exist in this story :))
"He didn't tell you?"
"Tell me what Amy?"
"Well jake, her boyfriend, was hurting her so jae went over there to protect her. When jake swung at her, Jae pushed her behind him but she tripped and hit her head"
"She's not.... is she?"
"No no, course not. She had to get stitches but that's all. She's back in la staying with a friend"
"So I'm assuming he's beaten himself up about it"
"This is jaden we're talking about here. Listen Bryce, I know I haven't met her but I think he needs Renesme"
"He didn't tell you?!"
"Tell me what Bryce?"
"He left esme. Said it's be better and he didn't want to hurt her too. She tried to commit Amy. She's not the same either"
"Oh god. She must need him as much as he needs her. I'll try and convince him to go and catch a flight back"
"Good luck Amy"
"You too Bryce. Enjoy you night"
"You too"

I sighed and walked back in fake smiling. "What was that about?" Es asked but I told her it was nothing. She looked at me suspiciously but I think she bought it. I sat back down beside Addison and smiled at her before watching the tv again.

Renesme's PoV:
Bryce was being awfully suspicious. The atmosphere was different and he was being extremely awkward but that's just boys right? "I think ima go to bed guys, I'm tired" I said standing up and stretching. "Alright then, night" "night guys." I walked upstairs and walked own the corridor, being by by jadens room. I slowly opened the door and looked in. It was a mess. Broken glass, unmade bed, clothes everywhere and alcohol bottles scattered around the room. I sighed and walked over to his drawers. I grabbed one of his hoodies and put it on, smiling because it still smelt like him. I walked back into my room and got into bed, snuggling up to the covers before drifting asleep.

I rubbed my eyes as my phone rang, waking me up. I picked it up and answered without looking at the caller ID.
"Hello?" I groaned. I sat up hearing the slight cries of someone at the other end of the line.
"Hello?!"
"Es... I- I"
"Jaden?!"
"I I- I'm sorry es. I need you"
"Jae? Where are you?"
"H-home"
"I'm calling your mom jae"
"No no, I need you"
"Send me your location. Do I need to get a flight?"
"Y-yeah, I'm sorry"
"I'm coming jae. I love you" I hung up and booked tickets, ready in three hours.

"Bryce!" I walked into his room and he threw pillow at me. "Go away" "I need to go to Colorado. Jae needs me." "What!?" "He called me, he's desperate. My flights in two hours" "I'll drop you" "thank you." I ran back out the room and frantically threw some clothes in a bag. I grabbed a pair of trainers and shoved them in there. I clicked on jadens contact and called him again.
"Jae, I'm coming. I'll be there in a couple hours"
"I love you esme, I'm sorry"
"I know, just hold on okay?! Okay!?"
"Okay" he muttered
"I love you Jae. Don't do anything anything stupid."

This chapters rubbish but oh well.
