Starting from the past

"Hey hey sis, guess who I bumped into today. Davis!!!" She gushed blushing as pink as her crop top.
" Wait Davis who?" I asked sincerely hoping it wasn't who I think it is.
"Davis lawal....we didn't really talk much,he just offered his condolences.....and he might have also asked that we meet for dinner tomorrow night."She beamed.
" Same Davis who always laughed at you in college?" I asked chewing the carrot chips loudly.
" People change." she said dreamily.
"You still nursing that crush I see." I said.
She didn't deny it.
" Priscy get the door!!!!!!!"Cecilia yelled from her room. I was in the kitchen loading dishes into the dishwasher. " Probably Davis."
Yeah,and I wasn't looking forward to that.
I opened the door still in my apron.
"Hey priscy." He greeted smiling widely. He was still pretty much the same, annoyingly handsome.
"Hi David....I hear you're here for my sister,makes me remember you humiliating her after she wrote that letter to you last Valentine's." I replied leaning against the door, making no plans to let him in.
"People change,things change." He replied offering me the flower he had gotten for cee_c.
"Not mine,not your date." I rejected it.
"A pretty flower for a pretty lady." He smirked. " Not planning to let me in."
" Didn't know you were this smart." I applauded.
" Are you ever going to forgive me?" He asked moving close to me.
I pretended to think, putting a hand to my chin."uhmmmm,nope,not happening,ever."
He placed a hand to his heart. " Ouch,you wound me baby."
" Don't call.me that."I hissed at him.
Cecilia appeared behind me looking like a Barbie doll. All done up in heavy make up,wearing a nude spaghetti strap dress. With her brown hair styled to the back.
"Oh hi davis....." She waved joining us by the door.
" You look beautiful."He said still looking at me.
" Oh thank you,must be the dress."Cecilia blushed,I huffed." Shall we?"
He took her hand in his and led her out. " Don't wait up for me, I have my keys." Cecilia yelled at me.
I closed the door.
T'was a little past 3am when I heard moaning and little screams. I silently prayed it wasn't what I was thinking. I creeped to Cecilia's door and peeped through the keyhole. Lo and behold,it was Davis,butt naked on cee_c.
When I said have fun,I didn't mean this kind of fun,or did I?. How could she stoop so low as to have sex with a guy who read out her love letter to the whole school on Valentine's day, on their first date.
I walked back to the kitchen to get water. Or probably get wine. After drinking to my satisfaction,I took the remaining to my room.
I wasn't planning on getting drunk,it would make a bad impression on dad's lawyers. Turns out,they were reading us the will tomorrow.

"What is he still doing here?" I asked placing a hand on my hip.
" Good morning to you too priscy."Davis answered.
" He spent the night."Cecilia explained. Pouring milk into her cereal.
"On the first date?" I asked eyeing him.
"That's no way to speak to your sister's boyfriend ." He whistled.
"Wait what, offcourse not....what does he mean by boyfriend?" I asked moving close to where they were sitting on the kitchen counter.
"He asked me to be his girlfriend." She squealed. "And guess what I said......Yes!"
"Oh really?" I asked sarcastically.
" Yep."She moved to kiss him on his lips,he moved and it landed on his ear...ewwwww.
"Well,congrats....am afraid you will have to leave now,cause we are expecting guests in a few." I informed.
" Yeah,she kinda told me."He said making no move to stand up." Turns out she needs me to be here for the mental support."
" She did what?" I turned to Cecilia.
"I begged him to stay, I'll be needing him,we don't know what dad has got in store for us."She shrugged. Begged him!!! I scoffed,he just needed a boost for his ego.
"I can't deal with you right now Cecilia,are you out of your mind????"
" Offcourse not priscy,that was mean. Am your older sister."She yelled.
" Then act your age." I yelled making my way out of the kitchen to get dressed.
"It's okay babe, she'll come around." I heard Davis telling her.

End of flashback
"You tired?" Jude asked concerned.
"A little,I think a little rest will do." I yawned.
"I'll show you to your room."He helped me up from the sofa. And led me to a room.
He helped me to the bed and turned to leave.
"Our parents left Cecilia the house and two cars,I was the one in charge of the company. He also left us some money,he gave cee_c #30 million naira and I #20 million naira". ( Naira is Nigeria's currency #).
"That is a lot." Jude commented.
I smiled....it was more than a lot.
"So am sitting beside a millionaire,am overwhelmed your majesty." He bowed jokingly.
I laughed,for the first time in a long while.
" If you say so,looks like you're not doing bad for yourself."
" Are you asking me if I have money?"He asked raising a brow,I nodded. " I try"
" You live on the island,that's a little more than try." I air quote.
" If you say so."He smiled pulling the white duvet up to my chin.
" Okay,you look like a nice enough guy,why haven't you been snatched up yet?"I asked staring at him.
"Actually, You're looking at a guy who was once engaged."
" What happened?"
" She called it off a month and three days to the date." He shrugged.
" You cheated?"
" Nope,am a one woman guy."
"You got cold feet and she could tell."I guessed.
" Offcourse not,why is it always the man's fault? I was down,she wasn't." He smiled.
" And her reason?"
" She said we weren't the one for each other. It close to a year,I got past it. She married now,with a baby that's gonna pop out anytime from now."
" Am sorry about that."
He laughed" you're sorry about everything."
I pouted. "Another one will come."
" Am sure she will." He said looking into my eyes." Or maybe,she has."
Then it clicked."Holy shit,I totally forgot to ask,are you in a relationship?"
" Why do you ask?"
" Maybe because I didn't think of that untill now,she's gonna be pissed another woman is with her man right now?"I panicked.
He laughed again...turns out he laughs alot.
"Calm your tits woman,there's no she anywhere, at least not now."
"Why not now?"
" Any one ever told you ask a lot of questions?"
" Ouch,that was mean." I pouted.
He stood up from the side of the bed. " Get some rest okay.....should I wake you up for dinner?"
" Nope,I'll sleep through that,am exhausted." I yawned turning to lie on my side on the bed.
"Good night then." He bid... I nodded."oh,and your sister says she's gonna stop by tomorrow." He informed.
I nodded again.....was I looking forward to that..... probably NOT.
