Chapter 11

I drove back home the next morning with a banging headache. I made my way to my room to sleep it off after Popping an Advil. The house was dead silent so I figured it's either there's no one home or they were both still asleep.
I slept for four hours straight, took my bathe, brushed and made my way downstairs for breakfast. The house was still so quiet. I made frosties. I couldn't bear the silence so I turned on the music on my phone. Listening to Trollz by 6ix9ine ft Nicki Minaj.
I cleaned the dishes in the sink and arranged them neatly back to where they belong. I turned off my music and made my way to Cecilia's room. The sight before me, on opening the door was horrific. The room was completely disorganized,clothes thrown all over the tiles, and an unconscious Cecilia on the floor, bleeding.
I screamed Making my way over to her.
"Cee,can you hear me! Cecilia talk to me!!!! Cecilia please wake up,say something!!!!!!!!."
I spent the next three hours pacing the emergency room door. Weeping profusely and praying to whoever was willing to listen. I can't afford to lose my last surviving family member.
"Miss Lawson. Your sister is fine,the baby is fine too. She's sedated right now so you can't see her at the moment."The doctor announced. I heaved a deep sigh.
" Thank you so much." I whispered.
"Can I ask though,who did that to her?"
"Her boyfriend." I hissed.
" Should I call the police?" He asked concerned.
"I'll do that myself,after am done with him."I held his hands." I need to rush home right now,tell Cecilia when she wakes up that I'll be back soon."
He nodded. I made my way out of the hospital, speed walking into my car.
Making my way into the house,I noticed everything was still the same. Davis hadn't returned. After packing Cecilia's clothes and underwear, I decided to sleep for a little while.
The house was still silent when I woke up,I took a quick shower and swapped myself in a short leather skirt black,and a white crop top. Picking up the small overnight bag I packed,I wore a white sandal combing through my hair hurriedly. I slept close to three hours.
The sight before me downstairs was something I never would have imagined in a thousand years.
Davis was lying down in the middle of the kitchen,with his head banged pretty badly and his skull peaking out from the big gash. A knife was also situated in the middle of his chest. With his eyes wide opened,he looked DEAD!. I screamed, running out of the house,I met Cecilia weeping in her hospital gown,her hands were filled with blood,and she was crying.
"Priscilla.......how?"
"Shhhhhhhh, don't say a thing. " I hugged her. Even if the bastard deserved to die,his death shouldn't have been from her hands.
I took her in, and washed her hands in the kitchen sink,careful not to step on his body.
After settling Cecilia in bed,I called the police. When they arrived,examined the body, confirmed what I already knew,they arrested me. Cecilia was hysterical, screaming and crying as I was handcuffed and took away in the police van.

"So you didn't kill him?" Jude asked after I finished my story.
" Not with my hands,no."I confirmed.
"So,you think Cecilia......"
"No,I won't let you do that to her,let them take me instead. You have to leave Cecilia to take care of her baby." I insisted.
" Cecilia claims she didn't kill him."Jude said.
I sighed." I know,she told me the same thing. But you have to understand though,she was going through a lot at that moment."
" Priscilla calm down." I did. " Cecilia said she met his body in the kitchen,he was dead before she got to him."
" What!!!"I exclaimed." That's not true,we were the only ones in the house,before and after it happened." I argued.
" What If someone got to him during the time it happened. You were asleep for three hours, correct?" I nodded." Damn! I have to call Cecilia,we have a new suspect!!!!!!!!."
Yay!!!!!!!! Who expected that?
