"Hey...am probably the last person you want to talk to,but please you need to talk to me." I pleaded.
" Am fine priscillia." Diana shrugged.
"Yes,you're very fine with a black eye and a bloody nose. Did Davis hit you?"
She scoffed" course not."
" So what happened?"
" It was just an in house accident,I slipped and fell in the bathroom." She lied avoiding eye contact.
" Am just going to lie too,and say that I believe you. But you know am here for you right?"
She nodded." I do,and am not sure I deserve that."
I left her to wallow in her own thoughts,as I went to my room.
I opened up my laptop and searched for DAVIS LAWAL on Facebook.
His profile came up,and I scrolled through his relations. Diana was not mentioned in any.
I searched for Diana lawal next,I didn't see any. Then I remembered Davis once said her husband's surname was Lawrence.
So I input Diana Lawrence,I found her. I scrolled through her timeline,just regular selfies and snapshots. I was about to give up when I searched through her former profile pictures and I saw she and Davis kiss.....on the Lip.
I froze,unable to believe my eyes. I didn't want to believe that Diana was more than a sister to Davis,even if I had suspicions before.
I typed Tessa Matthew next,she was Davis Barbie girlfriend back in college. I sent her an HI, and waited for her reply.
I got none. While waiting,I decided to take a quick stroll,to clear my head.
"Didn't know you were home priscy." Davis joked as I came down the stairs " our little miss CEO."
I pulled the hoodie on my shirt up and ignored his presence,making my way out of the house.
The nerve of that bastard,I cannot believe he brought his girlfriend into my house. He was a devil reincarnate,that's if he isn't the devil himself.
I plugged in my airpod and played music on my phone, attempting to get rid of my murderous thoughts.
Humans were evil.

"She wasn't his sister!" Jude exclaimed.
"Yep."
"I didn't believe her at first,I mean,I followed him to the hospital to get her discharged after the so called assault from her ex husband." Cecilia added." I am such a fool."
" It got to a point,I was pretty sure Davis was into voodoo for you. I mean,you only see things you wanted to."
" That's what I would refer to as being a fool in love."Jude stated.
" I can't wait for you to come back home. I miss you so much, sometimes,I spend the night in your room."
" I know how that feels. The court hearing is in three days. And Jude,I know you've done alot already, but I want you to please take care of my sister and her baby." I begged futurewise.
" You'll be here,with us." He whispered holding my hands.
"You seem to be really sure of yourself." I tried to joke.
" Am one of the best in the country maami." He winked.
" Cocky much."
" It's not being cocky babe,it's being sure of oneself."
" Alright you two,I'll just ignore the fact that you just referred to my baby sister as babe,and move on to say that I approve whatever it is brewing between you too. And I can't wait for Friday." Cecilia beamed. While I whimpered,I was so not waiting for Friday,Friday was the day we'll be finding out if I would be here,or be behind an iron gate. Kirikiri is hell on Earth.
"Well,nothing is going on ......yet." Jude informed. "We're both taking our time,seeing wherever this is going." I suggested that,after my little mental breakdown in the room yesterday. Friday would decide how things are going to be between us.
"Am happy for you priscy." Cecilia said genuinely.
"Am happy for me too,Am happy for us." I hugged her.
"Excuse me ladies,I have a call to make." Jude said making his way out,leaving us alone.
" You know he doesn't." Cecilia said referring to Jude's white lie." So have you two......yunno..." She wriggled her brows.
" I really don't understand what you're saying." I feigned pretense.
"Have you had sex with him?"
"Hmmn,No....we've kissed like ....just once."
" What are you waiting for,I see you eyeraping each other?"
" Nothing really, we've both silently just decided to not cross that bridge yet." I shrugged." What about you,how's the health?"
She gulped avoiding eye contact. "Am fine really,Antonia.....drop it."
I raised my hands up." Alright....I was just being concerned."
"I know,and I just really want all this to end so we can start afresh,no more lies and secret."
" I love you." I offered.
" I love you much more........."
