Chapter 8

You all got to the hiking place and decided to split into pairs so you could all keep track of eachother. Everyone was arguing who was going to be paired with who and all you could do was stand back and wait.
"let's decide with rock paper scissors winner goes with y/n and the rest go from youngest up" namjoon called out and everyone nodded their heads.

It took a while to get down to the final two, yoongi and jungkook. "Hyung you can't beat me I'm the best at this game" jungkook shouts out with a smirk "Don't get sassy let's wait and see"

Rock. Paper. Scissors.

"no fair!" jungkook whined glaring at his Hyung who had won the game, "okay so it's decided!"

You look up after realising you hadn't been paying attention the whole time "y/n and yoongi are the first pair". A "huh" was all you could manage meeting the strange look yoongi was sending you.

'this is going to be a long day'

The remaining pairs were jungkook and taehyung, jimin and hoseok then finally Seokjin and namjoon.

'This was definitely going to get crazy'
It was like you had gained abilities to feel that something would go wrong today.

The trail yoongi had chosen was the easiest luckily so you could spend your time admiring the vast fields and hills you could almost make out your guesthouse when you reached half way. The others had spilt off onto the other trails and would all meet at the top.

"I never knew this place existed.. How beautiful" yoongi turns and faces you. "what I-is something wrong" you said "I'm guessing you thought out loud then" your face flushes with embarrassment and you look down avoiding his once again strange gaze "s-sorry".

Yoongi POV~

'This girl really' I let out a sigh and carry on walking lost in thought 'did I do something to scare her'

'something about her bothers me could she actually be a fan but if she was we all would have seen something by now or she wouldve said. There's so many things I want to ask her but how am I meant to talk to a girl who can't even hold a conversation. It pisses me off'

"y-yoongi? Yoongi-ssi?"

I startle a little to my name being called. I turn around and meet the eyes of y/n "Huh what? "she finches at my voice 'wow this girl' I mentally scoff and wait for her to speak.

"could we take a break.. I-I bought snacks if you want some" I look around and see a bench just further up "sure let's sit there"

After we had sat in silence for a good few minutes I finally bring myself to talk "so.." I start off, getting her attention "we haven't really talked much I just wanted to know more about you" my tone more casual.
"ahh.. Well I don't know h-how to start but yes okay" she actually agreed to talk, I sit and wait for her to begin.

"well.. I've lived at the guesthouse my whole life.. I started running it alone after my mum passed away 2 years ago ermm.. Oh and I like p-photography and video games.. I know how to play piano.. A-a little"
She started to think for more and I couldn't help but chuckle at her focused expression.

"That's cool" I replied before continuing "how did you learn piano, is there one at the guesthouse?" she was now smiling to herself "my mum taught me.. There's a piano in one of the storage rooms" she was still smiling at she spoke but yet I could see sorrow in her eyes.

I let her stay in thought while I also let myself be carried off in thought thinking back to earlier.

~~~~Flash back~~~~

Me, namjoon, Jin Hyung and taehyung had taken the first car, taehyung had fell asleep soon after we set off while I was driving.
I could tell Jin Hyung was thinking about something and of course Jin wasn't going to share anytime soon. We had been driving for a good 15 minutes and the eerily silence was starting to irritate me.

"so Jin-Hyung what's wrong?" I asked as i glanced to my side where Jin sat in the passenger seat clearly caught off guard. "n-nothing" he stuttered out averting eye contact. 'something was bothering him'  I take a moment to think before I speak again.

"is it about y/n?" i proceeded to question. I had noticed for a while that the boys were growing more and more fond of the girl and from his reaction I'm guessing I guessed right.

I wasn't going to leave the conversation untouched as I continued to ask" is it? " in a much more tense tone and at this point Jin knew as well I wasn't going to drop the subject.

"I.. I don't know" he finally replied sighing at his words. 'This guy is going to be the death of me'

"you like her?" i asked jumping straight to what could only be the answer. his gaze shot up to meet mine
"of course I do she's a great person I see her like my own child" he chuckled out in response clearly avoiding the truth of the question. 'he can't fool me'

"you know thats not what I meant" I sighed out looking over to my hyungs bothered expression then back to the road.

"she feels special like I want to be around her always" Jin couldn't help but slouch in his seat feeling defeated finally letting his thoughts flow out. It genuinely hurt to see him act this way but before I could say more a voice pipped up from the back seats.

"Hyung your not the only one" taehyung spoke up causing both me and Jin to flinch and glance back at the boy who was rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"t-taehyung when did you wake up?" a startled Seokjin asks "Don't worry I heard it all" taehyung replied with a laugh a smile spread across his face as he reached and pulled Namjoons headphones from him "ya what do you think your doing!?" namjoon shouted practically causing the car to shake.

namjoon exhaled deeply then looked up to meet Seokjins eyes "do you like her the same way you like us?" he questioned but before the one beside me could reply I had to break the conversation.

"we're here" I huff out.
