Once I left the room a new change of clothes was given to me, a blue set of clothes, with socks and white shoes. The shirt had a big U and A on it, and the pants carried the lines down to the edge of the leg. They told me they grabbed the smallest size they had, but it was still loose on me. After changing me and Aizawa-Sensei we're walking down the halls to enter a massive room with equipment, benches, and various machines and weights. When I stopped looking around the room in awe I was instructed to start lifting the weights only above my head and set them back down. I was told to stop with them once I cant lift the weights anymore.
I padded over to the weights and grasped the 1 kilo weights. I spent the next 5 minutes lifting the weights and when I was then hit by a wave of exhaustion and nausea.
"Not much for endurance huh?" Sensei said.
"I-I don't know what you want me to do at all, really." Was all I could say. I huffed and wheezed, trying to get air back in my lungs. "W-what's next?"
"Well" Aizawa-Sensei started. "We should work on your endurance some more." I nodded, feeling a bit of color rush to my face. I felt weak, and the floor looked very inviting. But I stood, looking at Aizawa-Sensei. "Do I need to do anything else?"
He looked over to Principal Nezu and he nodded. A man with a grey block for a head touched the ground, and a crude shape of a man's torso and head on a pole came up, made of the same material as the ground. I felt my mouth drop open somewhat, "I've never seen that before, that was so cool!" The block man looked away, bashful. Aizawa-Sensei walked up to me, gesturing to the target. "We'd like you to show us what your quirk can do. So we know where to start training you."
That made sense, but I was still worried. I don't know what a quirk is. They were all looking at me expectantly. "Aizawa-Sensei..?" He made a grunt in response. "What's a quirk?" Nezu remained passive, but the block man made an incredulous gawk and froze, while Sensei's eyes widened. The small principal spoke up, "That power you told us you used, while falling. That's your superpower, or better known as your quirk. 80% of our population has some kind of superpower, hence why this is an academy for heroes." He cleared it up somewhat. So its that ability I used before? Seems easy enough... I guess.
I faced the concrete dumm, and felt a small pulse, like a heartbeat, from my pocket. I slipped my hand in and felt the cool smooth touch of the tablet that strange man gave me. I pulled it out, seeing text on the screen. I knew how to read... he insisted upon it. I scrolled through the tablet, realizing there was a list of abilities, in 2 different organizations. Alphabetical and by.. Jump World? I shook my head, too many questions already. I scrolled through to a Jump World called The World of Hidden Villages.
It was a large list of what's called Jutsu. So I scrolled through and tapped one. "The ra.. sen.. Gan?" It gave a small description on what it was, so I didn't use it wrong. It also said how to activate it. I stared down the target, taking a deep breath before opening my eyes again. "The World of Hidden villages, " I held out my hand, feeling power rush to my palm, swirling and pulsating, "Rasengan!"
A blue ball of energy was swirling in my hand, and I ran towards the target, pulling back my hand. "Haa!" I pushed my hand towards the target, hitting the target with the ball. The target was stationary for a split second before it was torn from the floor. It began spinning, too fast for our eyes to see. It was then shattered, the pieces flying in all directions.
I coughed, smiling in the dust. I did it! I looked to Sensei, the block man, and the Principal. They all had separate expressions. The principal and sensei both had a neutral expression, but the concrete man had a slack jaw and wide eyes. I stood back up, relaxing. "What happened to your rubber mode?" The principal asked, walking towards me. "I can still do that if that's what you were expecting?" The principal shook his head. Then I felt the fatigue hit me, much less than the first time. Probably because my body is adjusted to it more now. I tripped a little but caught myself. Sensei walked over to me, seemingly unimpressed. "No, you're fine. You look exhausted as is. Go rest with recovery girl, we'll continue this later." And with that, I walked back to the office, laying in the bed I woke up in earlier.
