Day 3: God Gave Me A Purpose

February 14 ( Back to the present) 

5:45 AM

I sat an alarm so i can get up super early today was the day i change everything. I slip on my clothes which were all black. I grab my mask and backpack, and I open my room door. I snuck past my mother's room but went back to check on her. There she was asleep peacefully, She usually wakes up at 7:30 to get me up for school. I went into the room my dad wasn't in there that was weird I push my mother a little just to wake her up.

"Mom wakes up it's important," I said shaking her a little.

"What's up son, It 5 in the morning why are you up." She asked

"Mom i can't explain but we are in danger, Dad is going to do something bad and i need to keep you safe." She got up and look at me

"What are you talking about, He's right" she turns around and touches my father's side of the bed, noticing he was gone. She picks up her phone on the nightstand to text him.

"He's not going to answer, Mom i need to tell something but promise me, You will get up get the pack, and got to this location." I hand her a piece of paper with Nala's grandma cabin address on it. "It's a hideout it's safe, Later on, today dad plans on killing us and taking al the money. He had a secret lover with a man but i can't give to many pieces of information." She looks at the paper and little tears came from her eyes.

"I know," she said " I know he had a love Nala father, I knew for years but never said anything. I wanted to keep the family together. Back then i did some things for your father im not proud of but i knew something was off about him, Last night he was on the phone with Jonathon, They were discussing money and guns but i never asked what for." She wipes her face " I just kept acting as if nothing was happening."

"Mom i know what he did, He had you on drugs, Sleeping with man, Abusing you and me, he's not a good man. Why stay." She looked at me with a strong will.

"I stayed because of you. I stayed because i knew we needed the money, He owns everything. I tried my best to sneak little bits of money for us. As much as i could to get away." She looks at the paper and looks at me.

"Ok, I'll leave right now as we speak ill get stuff pack for you and go get grocery." She got out the bed and started to move.

"Don't forget to pay with cash and change your appearance try not to be seen. Just in case dad pops up ok." She nods and pulls out taser from the dresser."

"You never be too careful, The man i loved dearly want to kill us i wonder why. What is going threw his mind right now." She said as she got her suitcase and pack things in it. i turn around and let her get the job done. But before leaving i turn around and look at her. "Sometimes they feel like the judgment is way worse than killing but to him, dad always been dark he just found his mate and it ends up just like him." Without a word I rush downstairs and out the back door, knowing i don't have a car i ran to the direction towards the abandoned house, Knowing i was back in my time had me realize that i might not have a perfect life but it was the one God gave me and i am truly happy about that. I ran for dear life and not looking at what's behind me. I stop to get some air and realize i was in front of Nala's home.

*6:30 am*

I sat there for 25 mins, Knowing i had to see her again. I text her phone and told her to meet me outside that it was important. She looked out the window and saw me waving, She look as if she was trying to focus her vision but then hold up the waiting finger as i presume she was getting dress. I look at the time 6:00 am, Shit she needs to come on I thought as the anticipation of nervousness and excitement build up in my body. 5 mins later she was outside running to me she was smiling looking beautiful. She had her braids down with a pink t-shirt and some black jeans. She had some black converse with Rin design on it from blue exorcist and to finish it off she had a black jacket to match it. I looked at her and kissed her. She kissed me back passionately. We felt every tingle, every spark I never wanted to let go i want to keep kissing her and show her just how much i truly love her. When we broke apart breathing heavily she looked at me and said. "What was that for." I smile and look at her, straight in the eyes, and said.
