19: I love her?

Amari's POV

"D-daughter???" I was stiff and wasn't able to absorb what he said. His daughter? How can that be possible?

I felt my chest ache and it's hard for me to breathe at this moment. The thought is I already had the idea of what's going to happen but I just chose to be dumb and let him hurt me.

But, one thing pops up in my mind, that kid is familiar to me.

(Time after Cherry, Annika and Milo went back to Manila after Louen's Birthday)

"Look at this Amari, Milo dance with Cybelle's daughter, look at her isn't she so pretty." Masiglang pinapakita sakin ni Mommy Cherry ang mga kuha niyang litrato mula sa Palawan which they attended with Mikko, because it's Cybelle's daughter's birthday.

I know her because she's always Milo's topic when we were in France, simula nong magkakilala kami ni Mikko sa University that Cybelle was always his topic, he never stop talking when it comes to her, she was his best friend so I find it cute that Mikko cares a lot to her childhood best friend. Until we both got into a relationship he never stopped mentioning her.

That's when I realize that Mikko is really bound by their friendship and I like that about him.

I still remember when we got back here in the Philippines, Mikko was so excited to meet her again but he didn't even get a chance because they say that Cybelle disappeared after her fight with her mom. That time Mikko helped them find her but he failed so he continued focusing on his job.

And he changed after that, all along I thought his changes were because of my condition but as years pass by, I notice him longing for that girl's presence.

I got that strange feeling back then but I avoided it. "Alam mo ba Milo was so happy to see Cybelle as in, he really misses her a lot, he never stopped teasing her when we were in their house hahaha." Mommy said like she's still featuring that moment on her mind.

I just smile at her and continue looking at the pictures, until I some into on picture here on Mommy's album, it's their picture on the birthday, all of them in one table Tita Blace were there, Mommy, Annika, Mr.Perez, Cyben and Cyvien. It was like a picture of two families, a happy bond of Del Mundo and Perez.

But one catches my attention, it's Mikko seated beside Annika wearing a beast costume and Cybelle's Daughter is seated on his lap. They were both smiling and... They have the same eye color and smile. If I don't know Mikko. I would think that. It's his....

Daughter.

I gasp and cover my mouth, my eyes widened with disbelief and I feel so betrayed right now, but at the same time I feel that I had no right to burst out until I don't know the whole explanation of this.

"It's C-Cybelle's d-daughter." I was shuttering so hard that I couldn't even gulp my own saliva. My throat suddenly feels so dry and I'm out of air.

Mikko shook his head so I assumed that I was right. "H-how?" I ask and stare at him. I can do this.

"Cybelle did a sperm cell transplant last 7 years ago before she left their house." What? "A-and you agreed with it?" Please don't hurt me so badly.

"I don't know a single thing about it, Jacob helped her to get sperm from me, she did it and she doesn't plan to tell it to me, she wanted to raise the child on her own." Hindi ko alam pero biglang umaykat ang galit saking buong katawan. What she did was a crime!

"That bitch, is she that fucking desperate on you, what a two face ass bitch acting like a good friend but deep inside she had a hidden desire on you she even do crazy thing on you, and now giving you responsibility like this?! Where is she? I'm gonna file a case on her, she will rot in jail!!!" I was filled with anger right now, how could she act so innocent but deep inside she's nothing but a desperate bitch!

"No no one's gonna file some cases for her" nagulat ako sa sinabi niya kaya hindi ko mapigilang tumayo sa harap niya. "What are you crazy after what she have done to you, you will just let it pass!!!" is he insane?

"Mikko kumuha siya ng sperm cell sayo ng hindi mo alam, hindi na ba sapat na ebidensya iyon para sayo, alam ba to ng nila Mommy at Tita Blace, alam ba niya ang ginawang kagagahan ng anak niya? Tinuruan niya ba ito ng maayos? Bakit parang hin—."

"Don't you dare cross that line Amari, I'm telling you!" I was cut off when he raised his voice and glared at me with his deep and scary eyes. His anger is heating up, and I know I hit the wrong spot on his nerve. Hindi ko sinasadyang sabihin iyon kay That Blace, I respect her, I'm just eaten by my anger right now. I hate that Cybelle!

No one's gonna fucking file case on her! Understand you don't have any rights on that!" his angry right now.

"Why didn't I have any rights on this? I'm your wife for god sake Mikko! Kasama ako sa mga desisyon mo sa buhay and now tell me why would we not file a case on that girl, what she did was wrong!"

"No, I said." he firmly said and stood up too, and faced my level with his cold and death glaring eyes.

This is the first time I saw this type of him and it's not the Mikko that I love, "Why? Give me a reason why I would let this pass? Do you love her so you don't want her in jail after what she did?" Natigilan ako ng magreact ang mata ni Mikko nong sinabi kong mahal niay ito.

His cold eyes turn into longing eyes and it's filled with love just like the same gaze he gives to me when he asks me to marry him. I feel pain all over my system when I realize it all along. I fake chuckled and wiped my tears, who betrayed my eyes, "So, you love her that's why?" I whisper and avoid his gaze.

It was fucking painful seeing your husband long for other woman. It fucking kills me.

My knees started to shake and weaken. Pakiramdam ko nabasag ang puso ko at hindi ko alam kung paano pa ito bubuoin ngayon. "T-tell m-me, Mikko y-you L-love her r-right?" I ask him even though I know that any answer from him would hurt me.

"I don't know." his voice softens, kahit sabihin niayng hindi niya alam, alam kong mahal niya ito by the way he reacts and his eyes can't deny it.

I smile and wipe my tears again. "You love her, your eyes say it all." I said and came near him. I reached for his hands, and at that moment I felt defeated and I just had to let go.

Last time he said that he doesn't love me anymore and even though he would say that, it just came out of him because he was mad. I badly know that our love for each other has faded matagal na, we are just holding our commitment for our marriage because that is what's right.

But now, handa akong pakawalan siya dahil iyon ang sinasabi ng puso ko, I want to see this kind of eyes again. And kahit na ang kapalit nito ay ang pagbitaw ko sa kasal namin, tatanggapin ko just to see him loved again.

I took a deep breath and reached for his chin so I could make it face me, when our eyes met I genuinely smiled at him and let my tears run. "You love her Mikko, you love her since then you're just too blind to find that out, you were so bright when you say her name every time, she was the smile in you but you didn't see it. But I saw that, I just choose to avoid it because I know that it's love. Mas pinili kong kamkamin ang pagmamahal mo sa akin kesa sa ipakita sayo ang totoo mong nararamdam, cause you were that kind of man that loves someone but you're afraid to lose her and you choose to avoid falling, You love her and I respect that." my last word kills me but I hide it with a wide smile.

"Let's file a divorce paper Mikko, I want you to be happy with them, please let us free each other and let go of our commitment this time." I said that while smiling but deep inside it's killing me.

"I love her?" he utters.

I smile and whisper, yes you do jerk!
