Y/N POV
I am woken up by this really loud beeping, gosh it's so annoying.
I try to open my eyes but my lids feel so heavy, I also try to move my arm but it hurts like a bitch.
What is wrong with me? I try really hard to wake up and after a while, I am finally able to. Only to see an all-white room.
A room that is not mine and that damn beeping. I turn to the sound and find a machine that's hooked to me.
"Oh! I see you have woken up." I hear a lady say.
The nurse smiles at me and starts to check on me. "How are you feeling sweetheart," She asks.
"Confused and in pain," I tell her in all honesty. My own voice sounds weird.
"Do you not remember what happened, dear?" She asks me concerned.
"I-I don't know. It's all so fuzzy." I tell her.
"That is expected, I'm sure it will all come back to you. I will let the doctor and the police know you have woken up. And I will bring something for the pain as well" She smiles and walks away.
The police? Why the police? where is Detective Raymos? I lift my arm only to see it all bandaged up.
Why can't I remember what happened? I know I was packing, but...
After the whole Asher fiasco, the police contacted me for making that call and to get a statement.
I also learned that he ran a huge underground Hybrid trafficking ring as well as a fighting one and a sex one.
He was all kinds of fucked up and sleazy. So much so that the freaking FBI stepped in.
A Detective was also put to watch over me since Asher and a few of his men were able to escape.
Since that shit went down I decided to pack things faster and get the moving to happen like yesterday.
My place is pretty empty by now.
But what happened after that.
The Doctor comes in and begins to check on me and ask a bunch of routine questions.
He tells me how I have been out for a day and a half I also have bruises on my arms and legs as well as my face, 2 broken ribs and I was also stabbed on my arm and shoulder.
I am doing okay, so I will be discharged in two days.
He orders the nurse to give me pain medicine and that knocks me out again.
Damn these drugs are good.
The next time I wake It's already night.
I try to think back on what happened apparently a day and a half ago and it suddenly hits me.
*Flashback*
I was finishing my last suitcase with all of my clothes ready to fly out.
I hear the door ring and ask Detective Raymos that it might be the pizza I ordered to celebrate the move.
I hear a commotion and look at the entrance two big-looking dudes are standing over Detective Raymos body.
