Taehyung POV

The guys and I have been hiding in the forest for a while now.

This place is truly beautiful. 

We have all tried to get jobs but since the closes town is so small there are barely any jobs.

The only one that was able to get a job was Jin Hyung doing the cleaning at a run-down motel on the outskirts of town.

He sometimes takes one of us with him to help him so that after we can get food and stuff.

Unfortunately, the money I took didn't last long.

 Damn humans need that paper stuff for everything and there being 7 of us the money disappeared fast.

Jin makes some money, enough to get food and clothes from the thrift shop but not enough to rent a place. 

Not that we can rent anything since we don't have any form of  ID and hybrids aren't allowed to go around without an owner.

The guys stayed put by the cave we call home while I go for a walk.

Things can get a  little boring.

I walk in my Linx form not knowing where I'm going.

I am enjoying the beautiful forest, chasing a pretty butterfly when my nose catches a succulent, mouth-watering smell.

Curious as to what it might be I follow the smell, leading me to a big home right by a lake.

Hmmm... I've never been here before.

I stay in the woods making sure that there are no humans around when I spot a big steamy plat by the window.

So that's where the delicious smell is coming from.

The closer I get to the window the more my mouth water.

I get on my two paws and see that no one is in the house.

Stupid humans, why would they do that? Such a waste of food.

But no fear, I won't waste it.

I take a bite and it's a flavor explosion.

The apples and something else... Wow, this is incredible.

I have never had this before. Where have you been all my life?

I take another bite and another and when I look at the plate half of the sweet treat is gone.

I take another bite when I hear a notice from inside the house.

There a woman is standing in the far corner of the kitchen looking at me in disbelief.

She looks familiar.

I have seen her somewhere.... but where...?

I am brought back to reality by her question " Are you eating my Pie?" She asks in a soft voice, a voice I have heard before.

So the sweet treat is called pie.

I nod answering her question, feeling bad that  I ate her yummy treat and got caught doing it.

The strange part of all this is that she has yet to freak out or scream or call the police, the army.

That's usually what humans do, right?
