It's funny isn't it, how one can escape the consequence of prison. Some are lucky to, some have lack in planning when it comes to murder. That's what I am learning now. Kill or be killed in the Lab. If caught by authority, it's game over. If not, what would it be?
The thing about this whole assassination thing is, no one expects a pretty lady to be out for blood. An educated, cunning girl who is forced into dresses and matching bows and curled blonde hair. The perfect plan. Even if you were expecting a girl, wouldn't you see a dirty tom boy with scars on her cheeks and a scary stance? Haha, that's like not even close to being me. I'm probably the least intimidating girl you could meet. But. I have grown learning different combat skills. I know how to murder someone so they don't see it coming, not having the time to tell before they are being killed. And trust me; I wouldn't do this if I knew I would die. That's my last resort. The fact that they will be the 181st assassination test subject.
I can't say for sure, but I think maybe being the killer is worse than being the subject. Especially when killing hurts so much.It all started long ago. I was raised in this Lab; learning all about combat along with taking pride when I was awarded. For taking the life out of just about anything. Squirrels, bunny rabbits, even a monkey once. The Lab people would praise me for it all.
One day-and my story starts here- they brought another girl in who was nearly ten. Like me.
She was pretty cool and all, but I had never socialized with another kid. "Hello there " is all I could manage.
"Hey I'm Marisa." She says. Marisa is holding a stuffed bear thing.
"What is that thing? Can we kill it?"
"WHAT," she yells, clutching the toy to her chest, shielding it from me. "NO!"
"Aren't you here to kill animals too?" I ask.
"No. Actually they told me that you plan to be my friend here."
"I don't talk to other people. Only people in white lab coats, basically."
"Oh. I grew up in a home, but momma said I was donations to science studies." Marisa tells me.
"That's not good. I'd rather have stuff like you and be happy at a home."We continued our conversation until I was called. "A180 TO OFFICE 1156 IMMEDIATELY"
