Lilith

I bolt awake and Maya isn't in the bed with me. I dash into Adrian's room. He's not there like he's supposed to be. I slide down the wall sobbing, because I know the scientist have him.

A note flusters into my lap. I find tape from my forehead and figured thats where it came from. The note reads:

If you want them back. Come get them.

That's the last straw. My emotions swirl into a hurricane. Hurt, anger, lost, grief, determination, and revenge. I finally let out a scream. All the glass shatters throughout the house. The force sending shards of glass everywhere.

My emotions are so wild that it takes me a second to change into a wolf. There's no pain worst other than mental pain. A scientist comes in the room. He stops when he sees me, clearly surprised I'm awake.

I growl in my throat, my fur bristling and hackles raised. Alai comes to my side and follows my lead.

"Lily-" he starts off.

I growl, not liking that he thought he could use my nickname. I crouch, ready to pounce. He backed up a bit as Alai settles into a crouch beside me.

Another scientist comes in carrying Maya over his shoulder. Maya is still clearly unconscious and unresponsive. A new scientists comes into the room.

I can never forget his face. His intimidating height, that I always feared. His side burns so thick I thought he mixed himself with a furry breast. Our creator hasn't changed on the short time we've been gone. I growl as anger and revenge swell inside me.

I roar at our creator and he gently sets Maya on the ground. I growl until he moves away from her. I called to Alai, telling him to keep watch on the sign. I go and nudge Maya with my muzzle.

Suddenly, something pricks my hunch. I turn and see the tranquilizer dart. Before I go unconscious, I shift back into my human form. I shiver in the cold, then everything goes black.

When I wake up, I'm dressed and in a king sized bed. I see that all the walls are made of glass. I'm next to Adrian and Orlando. The four rooms each take the shape of squares. Maya has to be diagonal from me. I run to the wall connecting to Adrian's. I knock lightly on the glass.

Adrian startles awake. He sees me and scrambles over. We place our hands together, pretending the glass isn't there. Tears flow down my cheeks. I can tell he wants to hold me and I want him too. For the first time ever, I don't know what to do. Escape will be damn near impossible now!

A door opens behind Adrian, but he ignores it. Suddenly he's yanked away from me.

A huge guard talks to him. Adrian doesn't answer. The guard punches him in the stomach. The guard demands something and Adrian spits in his face.

Adrian is so stupid! The guard goes ballistic and bears him. I wonder with every punch. Tears stroll down my cheeks. I yell for the guard to stop, though he can't hear me.

This senseless violence makes new shut down and the feeling of uselessness hugs me tight and dragged me into a deep hole.

My body changes even though I do my best to stop it. I whimper as tears stream down my muzzle. Finally, tired of being ignored, I howl with all my energy. The glass rattles abs he finally gives me his attention.

His face twists and he opens the door and leaves Adrian.

Soon my door opens as suspected I snarl and snap my jaw at his direction. I notice Adrian's blood on the guard's hands.

He takes a step forward but the door opens. A voice demands for the guard to leave, though the man is well hidden.

Once the guard leaves I shift back into a human and crawl to Adrian's corner. Then I find comfort and fall into a fitful sleep.

I wake up to the smell of food and hope washes over me, praying that being captured was a horrible nightmare. I look up with a smile, but it fades when I see our creator standing over me. I raise my hackles, bristle my fur, and flatten my ears to my head. He backs off and leaves. I push away the for, not in the mood to eat.

Our creator comes back around lunch to try to get me to change so I can talk to him. I don't eat lunch and I ignore him. I lay my head on my paws and stay that way until he gives up and leaves which doesn't take long, because he's very inpatient.

It looks as though Adrian can control his change because he stays a tiger.

For the first week, I don't eat and when I do sleep, it's fitful. I've grown used to my stomach rumbling, though Adrian and Orlando are confused on what I'm trying to accomplish and are beginning to worry.

"Eat please." Adrian begs.

The boys continue to plead. Eventually, I slid under my bed and ignore them. The scientists have down nee that it's my fault that we're captured. I suggested the spot for me and Adrian's date after he purposed. It was there they had a strong enough frequency to track me from there. The Falls were actually making it harder to find me. If I just let Adrian walk me asking the edge of the breach where the shore and sane meet we'd be fine.

I start changing and the door opens. Our creator and guard step through and the put me on the ground. They start hitting me. He has lost patience with me. The creator stops them.

"You will speak!" He yells with am insane look in his eyes.

I say nothing.

The beating continue and then spit blood.

I will always love you Adrian. I know I'm going to die. It's my fault we're all here. They were watching us.

Lily fights! I can't live without you. I love you.

The guard his me one last time it on impact it takes my breath away from me.
