"Can we do it now?" Liam asked. "Please!"
"Ok, ok. But you have to make the hot cocao. Then we can leave." I said as I got two hats, two sets of gloves, and out winter coats.
About 10 minutes Liam came back with two mugs of hot cocao. Yummy hot cocao.
"Lets go now Saz!" Liam grabbed my hand and dragged me out to the car parked in our garage. I like saying our. This is our first christmas together. And now we are going to get a tree.
"Jingle bells, jingle bells. Jingle all the way." Liam sang beautifuly. Me on the other hand... Not so much.
"Oh what fun it is to ride on a one horse open sleigh!" I yelled.
"Hey!" We yelled out the window to the old man staring at us like we were crazy. Let him think what he wants. We got to the tree far about 5 christmas songs later.
"Hi, um can we see your biggest tree, please?" Liam said to the man with an ax. Liam had his arm around my waist tighter then usual. But I don't care, I feel safe in his arms.
"Right this way." We walked past all kinds of trees. From Short to skinny. None of them caught my eye though. Then we saw it. The biggest, greenest, is that a word? Well I don't care. Tree. I looked at Liam and he saw what I did.
"This one." We both told the man. I am still slightly terrified of him.
"It's 'bout nine feet tall, and the branches go out 'bout five feet. Do y'all have room to place this?" The man whos' name tage stated as Stan, asked us. Do we have room?
"Yes, we have room." Liam said. Now I bet we don't have room.
"Ok. Just hold on please, why I chop it down."
We waited for about 30 minutes why he wrapped it up. We stringed it to our car, and drove back home.
"Liam, do we have room for this?" I asked while walking through our home.
"I will make it fit, if it's the last thing I do!" He went to the living room, and started moving things around.
Close to an hour later we had the huge tree up in our living room. We had to cut off a foot from the bottom though.
"Can we -" I cut off Liam
"Yes, now we can decorate." His smile was like a seven year old's on christmas. That made me smile. Christmas will be fanstastic this year.
