Jules POV
I served the ball. The heat was getting to me, and I pulled my long brown hair into a messy bun at the top of my head. It was coming on night time soon, and we - a few friends and I - are having a bon fire.
"Over here!" I called and the ball flew towards me and I laughed. I hit it and it touched the ground on the other side and we cheered.
"I give up! It's too hot!" my friend yelled. She made her way to the water and just wandered until she was chest deep. "It's so nice in here!" she called. I laughed again.
"Can we play?" I spun around to face...One Direction. I started to jump up and down, a very bad idea when in a bikini. I wasn't jumping around mainly because of them, but because one it was hot and two, Harry Styles was shirtless.
I ran towards Emma who was in the water. She was laughing her arse off, and I didn't find it funny. My feet were burning.
"Jules! Aren't you playing?" she inquired. I rolled my eyes and splashed her square in the face. I turned away from her as she splashed me and looked into Harry's eyes. He winked and gave me his dimples and I nearly swooned. I looked away.
Emma and I stayed in the water for the rest of the day until it was dark and the fire was being set. Everyone had set up logs around the fire and there was towels set up along them. There was only one seat left once Emma sat down and that was next to Harry.
"Jules, how about you start us off with a song?" Emma asked, pulling out her guitar and started strumming 'Truly, Madly, Deeply'. I wasn't afraid of singing in front of people, just, maybe, One Direction.
"That was really good!" Louis exclaimed and I blushed. I felt someone brush away my hair and looked up and into Harry's eyes.
"Wanna go for a walk?" he asked and I nodded, getting up. I shivered slightly and Harry handed me my white thin long sleeved shirt to put over my bikini. I hugged my sides.
"You really were good," Harry finally said after a moment of silence. I smiled slightly.
"Thanks," I said greatfully. Harry and I walked in silence, just listening to the splash of the waves that hit the shore. We walked over to the other side of the beach where a break wall sat and we sat on the rocks, just looking over at the ocean.
My hand found Harry's and I pulled away, though he clamped my hand in his, and it felt almost right. We sat there in a comfortable silence. I looked out into the ocean and saw a pod of whales breaching and squealed excitedly.
"Look Harry," I breathed. He moved closer to me, his face right next to mine as we watched them breach. The sounds of their sirens was beautiful and I closed my eyes, wishing that I could remember this moment for the rest of my life.
I turned my head and looked into Harry's eyes as we moved closer together. My lips met his in a sweet kiss. Best first kiss ever.
