"Wake up..."

I open my eyes.

I was greeted by a girl dressed like she's been at a funeral; she looked really pale and sickly. She had long, straight black hair.

I was sitting down on the floor and resting my head at a bedside. I looked around the room that we were in. My eyes locked on a vase with dead flowers on top of a wooden drawer.

"Wake up..." she said again, following my gaze, "Vase..."

I tilted my head in confusion.

"Vase."

She suddenly gave me a name, huh?

I stood up and turned around to see the bed; it was in the corner of the room, below a window.

An elderly man was sleeping in it silently, he was tucked into his bed comfortably. His hair was the whitest of white, but only was a thin layer.

"Ah,"

It hurts...

I suddenly find myself in pain; it felt like my head was about to burst.

In an instant, I learnt why I was here and who the sickly girl was.

It hurt, so I retorted by putting my hand on my forehead and leaning back on the wall. Seline, the sickly girl, also reacted.

In an another instant, everything went black, and then we were under a tree. It was bright, but a little too bright (for we were in a dark room just seconds before).

I cover my eyes for a moment and look around when my eyes adjusted to the light.

We were under a tree atop of a hill; surrounding the hill were flowers of different variants.

It seemed like the flowers were endless as they were going into the horizon, but at a closer look, there were what looked like buildings surrounding the flowers.

I look at Seline and she looks back at me. She turns slightly, looks away, and then points at something.

I look over to where she is pointing; the elderly man was walking towards one of the surrounding buildings.

She starts following him, and I start following her.

We left the shade of the tree; the sun was pleasantly warm. I look down to admire the flowers; they seem healthy and alive.

I look up, surprised that we were already in front of one of the surrounding buildings.

"It seems like..." Seline said, crouching down and plucking a flower, "we are in his dream."

She stood up with the flower she plucked and tucked it on my left ear.

She giggled softly, "Vase..."

Ah, I see.

I laughed a little because of her joke.

She plucked two more flowers and put them both on my right ear.

I sigh and smiled at her softly.

I divert my attention to the elderly man in front of us.
