SEVENTH MELODY; PONYTAILS AND SHIRTS
✯✯✯
"AAAAH! We've ran out of drinks!" Oikawa dramatically said, pulling on the roots of his hair as he gazed down at their stuff on the sand.
"Oh? But we still have to crush those kids from earlier, we promised them we'd play again after a short break, right?" Matsukawa asked, tilting his head slightly to the side as he drank the last few drops of his energy drink.
The first and second years were wandering around the beach, probably either swimming or taking a jog as they were originally supposed to. There was no way Oikawa was going to run around the beach and search around for anyone who was available. But then again, even he himself didn't want to go to the store which wasn't that near. In fact, it was a bit far. One should run to be able to get there in fifteen minutes, and it was the only store nearby, and the only nearest.
The chocolate haired male looked around, searching for either Hanamaki or Iwaizumi if they were around. But then again, he remembered that Hanamaki promised the kids that he will play on their side instead of Seijoh. The team managed to make friends with the junior high kids earlier, so being the volleyball lovers they were, they promised to have yet another set of matches with them.
"Have you seen-"
"Shittykawa!" someone called behind him, making him flinch at the nickname.
He only knew two people who liked to call him that; Iwaizumi, his best friend, and Yua who managed to become his closest girl friend.
Turning his head to the speaker, he was met with a smiling Yua. As much as he wanted to scold her and tell her not to call him that anymore, he found the way she said the nickname quite endearing. Besides, the cute smile on her face was cute, too.
"Yu-chan! Have you seen Iwa-chan?" Oikawa asked, furrowing his brows slightly as he looked around once again.
Mimicking his brows, Yua looked around her as well before speaking up.
"Why? Is something wrong? Or are we going home already? It's 3pm." Yua replied, her eyes blinking in confusion.
Oikawa chuckled, seeing her hair still a bit wet and her shirt having wet patches from different places. Pinching his friend's cheek, he grinned before shaking his head and answering her.
"Actually, we've ran out of drinks and I'm looking for Iwa-chan to buy some. The others guys and I will be playing with the kids from earlier," Oikawa replied, "Besides, the girls who were watching us earlier seem to like me. Aren't I charming, Yu-chan?"
